I would have to say it is economics most of all. Houston in particular is quite affordable to live compared to much of the country. Right now with the down turn in the economy Texas is the only real state that has good job growth. If you look at the average amount of money people have left to spend at the end of the month I would be even lower income to middle class in this area have more cash to spend.

I tend to notice a lot of escorts travel to were they think they will make money. This being said if they start making more money in one area and find it not worth while to travel to another then they tend to settle more in that area.

If an area becomes over populated with escorts there is less money to go around and the prices drop and then you see some leave. It is a cycle you can actually monitor it by watching backpage and craigslist.

Since about january of last year I think the number of escorts has gone up a lot. I would have to assume it has to do with the number of women who lost jobs and those with other reasons. I did notice a lot of the new ones are single mom's as well.

Then I think escorts like any other person like places they find convenient, familiar, friendly.... and so on. Which is why some stay in the places they are at.

But as why there are more here I would say economics is the biggest factor.

Not trying to be a smart ass, but Texas is a pretty big state with a few major cities...Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio. texas has great weather most of the year. so our babes have a better chance of staying fit, fine, tanned, toned, and eager to bone. besides, with larger territory, comes the demand for business. lot of money here....and the legendary history of best little whore house in texas.
