We tried to warn you...her "advice" to you is making you look ignorant...

BTW: She's very good at getting other people to do her dirty work for her...don't let her keep playing you like this...
He has no idea what he is talking about. Anyone who doesn't understand rule 1 won't follow rule 1. Sad.
Holy shit! You're still arguing this? I'm not fan of Wakeup's but this is pure bullshit! It is NEVER okay to out someone's name, even if it is a common first name. Who are you to decide what personal information is okay or not okay to disclose publicly? We leave little trails when we're posting here and a first name may be the last piece of the puzzle to connect the dots for someone.

I main seriously, you're suggesting it's okay for providers to start posting their clients first names? What the fuck? Originally Posted by BFCjosh

I am against a provider posting info that can truly identify a person, like full name, plate #' TDL, phone # etc... but just a first name?

We see ladies post info on bad clients all the time, they post partial information like "his name is Joey_______" and his phone # is 281 -56#-##45

using WU's logic, she just "Outed" a person... now is Joey on here? dunno.. he might have a nickname and did not tell her that, or he is one of the guests that look...

but she just "outed" Joey

1st I did this on my own... why? because it would appear that the collective on here fail to realize that just exposing a 1st name, you have not given anyone anything to go on search wise. No tangible information was revealed other than a 1st name..

if that got your panties in a knot WU, then you are truly a lost cause.

And I called NASA, they confirmed it.... the world revolves the SUN, not you..

I have to say from experience. The mods here do investigate! They dont make it public, but just because you cant see it doesn't mean they didnt look further into it. I noticed she outed a few things on here, she just went to far and got caught up. I been banned, its so easy to say the wrong thing and get the boot. No second chances!

G Pop you are trying to draw a line. You fail to comprehend that ECCIE has a no tolerance when it comes to outing. First, last, nick name whatever the fuck you wanna call it its against the guidelines to post RL information. If the person doing the outting thinks the info is RL info then it's considered outting regardless.

You can argue this till the end of time and its not gonna change the policy.
I was never FOR anyone OUTING anyone... just that someone got banned because a first name was mentioned, no visible proofing was done, no MOD stepping up saying "we have verified the information she posted was in fact HIS real name"

As it stands now, it looks like the MODS are in WU's back pocket doing his bidding.

All a mod needed to do was post a neutral message saying that they verified things and handled it.

Do I trust the mods? Some yes, some, not so much but they are mods... can any of them ban me? sure..if I cross a line. But as this thread reads early on.:

A real first name was posted, was reported, and the user banned with out saying that they researched the claim.... which makes the whole thing look slanted..

Some much to harsh, as when someone is being provoked they really just concider the rule that was broken, it doesn't matter for what reason. You break a rule you take a vacation. Simple as that! They aren't blind, but whay ever provoked her doesnt matter. She did it, and it sucks for her. We all deserve to be here making a living!

GPOP, it is sorta looking to me like you are trying to irritate the mods. Maybe to the point where we would close this thread, just to keep from listening to you. Ain't gonna happen. This thread will stay open.

You have been told numerous times in this thread how it works. It is said and done. You will not be getting any further info.

I suggest to you, very strongly, not to let anyone push you into a situation where you start receiving points for doing their dirty work.
