Posted with admin approval: "I've never had a problem with a reviewer sharing his OWN comments with the girl he reviewed. However, she can't use those comments in any way....on this site or anywhere else...like her own website. When she acknowledges that she received it here, she faces a Rule 20 violation. When she posts it elsewhere, we ask her to remove it. If she won't remove it, then we remove something that's important to her, starting with VP, her membership here, etc."

For the record, DED, I apologize if I've over-stepped my left/right limits as a mod on this or any other Houston thread. The OP solicited opinions, I gave mine. Now that we all have clarity on this issue, I'll enforce the forum guidelines in my own neighborhood and stop shitting all over yours.

I want to thank the staff for their clarification of the guidelines and where they stand on this confusing issue. I apologize for any stress this may have caused anyone. While I do still staunchly believe there is value in accurate feedback, I understand that my desires for an open information exchange may not gel with the majority of membership here. I am more than happy to abide by any rules that the staff lay out, which is why I instituted my review policy to begin with; it seemed in line with my interpretation. It was never my intent to guide or harm the review process at all - I truly believe in the value of accurate reviews, and, for what it's worth, if an accurate "No" review were to be written about me, I would not stand in the way of its posting. It is good to have the official interpretation out there. If it is deemed that I should be removed from the board for any amount of time for acknowledging that I knew that the contents of my review (as transcribed via email from BP prior to posting on ECCIE) were accurate, I shall accept my punishment with grace. If it is deemed that I should be given another chance, I shall move forward following the strictest letter of the rules before me. I know the staff are innocent volunteers in all of this, and I value the time they've no doubt spent debating this issue, regardless of the outcome or how it might affect me.

I am so confused. My confusion in this matter could be handled with a simple taint photo. Taint cleanses the mind and allows clarity to prevail.
