Man if I knew I could stir up this much dialogue by a cancelled appointment, I would have been posting non stop when I first started in the hobby!

And if I knew I would actually get an answer by posting about a cancellation in an open forum, I might have actually done it......yet, I can count on two hands how many times a provider has ever actually given any explanation for their decision to cancel (or in my experience starting out as a newbie, provide a NCNS).

Have times changed that much where we demand an explanation over and over? Huh, interesting generational shift....

When they do give a reason for cancelling, the guy usually complains that it's a made up excuse. Would they feel better if she said "you're right. My mom isn't ill.
