Ask A Provider Anything

"Gross negligence" I understand. In Texas, it's a term for conduct in a civil case meriting exemplary / punitive damages. I know of no criminal statute in Texas defining the mens rea requirement as "gross negligence."

I've never heard of "willful negligence" used as a synonym for "gross negligence."

Really?! Well I do have a "rhetorical question" for you: Could Al Goldstein be indicted under this Washington prostitution law if he still is alive today? Originally Posted by andymarksman

Me neither, actually. I don't practice law, so there's no reason to pretend I know anything about it. But, that seemed to be the thing to do, lately.
Yes, willful and negligence are both types of intent, according to thousands of years of common law and thousands of criminal statutes. Now, in Andy's World of Psychotic Delusions and Ignorance, things might be different. You'd know better than me. Originally Posted by ShysterJon

Is this still the "Ask a provider anything" topic?

Care to explain why the FBI castigated Hillary's "willful gross negligence" in her mishandling of the classified materials but declined to charge her for her lack of "criminal intent"? Originally Posted by andymarksman

okay, real question for Estella.. why are Latina Providers far less likely than other groups to be GFE (assuming, of course, that you accept my premise), yet when they are GFE, they are second to none when providing GFE?

I think Estella has left Eccie and returned to Seattle.
