I have been in other forums where if I started a new thread about the 2018 World Cup, I would had earned an infraction for not using an existing thread about the subject even if the existing thread is about the World Cup from 4 years prior.

The only rules here that pertains to NOT bumping old threads only specify bumping reviews that are older than 30 days.
