It's about to get ugly out there

We got off on a political discourse I'm not going into the mud there;

If you want to debate, at least stick to the subject at hand and not bring up tons of other potential political BS. Losing a debate doesn't mean you 'win' by changing subjects, you still lost. Originally Posted by JustforFun2012

(What "right of privacy"?)

FYI: I saw an article or two in which "red light" cameras were blamed ... I will repeat "blamed".... for an increase of "rear end collisions at intersections"! I suppose the new law will get "blamed" for fathers being imprisoned and their family not being housed and fed! Because Dad was paying prostitutes.

This entire thread is POLITICAL! But it's a challenge to have a decent conversation about a piece of legislation and an amended criminal statute with someone who hasn't read it either because they are too lazy to do so or can't understand the wording.

When you start name-calling it gets "muddy"!

So we're officially going on Day 2 of AMPocalypse. Anyone been arrested yet or shutdown?

Folks lets knock off the political tangents away from the law that was passed to curb prostitution. Red light cameras and the like, while loosely related to the trampling of hooker rights, is not the same as what the intent of this thread was for. If you want to talk about all of that other stuff then go to the sandbox or the political forum. It's not a topic for the AMP forum.

I know there were some amps busted on hwy 6 a few days before the new law went into effect. Not sure which ones.

How many of these places get busted and actually close down permanently? Most will reopen almost immediately unless it was something so egregious like 7 Star.

Oh good old Camry Canker, I was wondering when you were going to succumb to your normal crappy and gilded ways and sure enough, you're back baby in your old form! Fresh coat of paint, still a Toyota! Your Lexus must be in the shop or you got your panties in a wad again. Gaasp!

What you fundamentally miss, as obvious as a red light runner, is that the law was IS trampling on the rights of purveyors / johns. There was a crime in paying for sex that's been on the books granted; however, the increased penalties for johns IS what we're discussing here which, ahem, IS a new statute. IDK how TF you get so off on tangents and off topic into other political mud. My only other complaint, also in the same thread of thought, is upon our voting rights being equally trampled upon as Houstonians; however, let's defer that for now to stay on point.

And no, the entire thread isn't as political as you make it. It's been pretty narrowly focused on the AMPs at hand and the law and there's been a lot of positive info sharing about this new threat and not your pointless tangents. Go take your adderall again CC, I think you're behind on your doses.

Finally, I don't know what high horse (do you even know the source of THAT adage?) age brings into this discussion as you've been called out on numerous times, the absolute 0 experience and sharing you bring back to this board.

Age but inexperienced is the worst combination, it's age without wisdom. And to address your question fool, I'm old enough to have seen the first Camry, ahem I mean Lexus, launched as a brand. But once again go believing in your 'superior experience, wisdom, and sage advice'...and you wonder why you're called pompous?!

I think every fellow on this board always asks the same question-WHY CAN YOU NOT POST AT LEAST ONE REVIEW-EVER? I read another post of yours this week, on a separate thread, questioning if the op gave or received greek. Really, what kind of closet homo asks that b/c they are full of fear in greeking a lady?! Grow the F up kid!!! Those who do not contribute just drag down the board.

Please, go, get back to your 1998 ES300 with the clear coat peeling and bubbled up tint and GTFO of here.

If LE does plan to crackdown on Johns at amps, I reckon they’ll focus on Bissy track at first before they sting the 24hr FS spots, they may not catch someone actually soliciting but may get some guys for outstanding warrants, dui, drugs or other things. LE will probably question you about your visit to a shop known to offer FS according to reviews on various sites. Know your rights.

Good news is for the most part you don't have to say anything in most AMPs, the girls know the dollar amount you lay on the table directly relates to a level of service expected. No need to provide any verbal evidence for a crime.
