SR - You have your opinion - agreed.

I think the issues listed are not what the radical Libs will push Biden on - and out of office for a radical VP to become POTUS - Open borders, welfare for all illegals, abortion on demand up to ter, soulent Green Ne Deal, outlaw the oil business *Maisie Hirono will have to take a sailboat to and from hawaii - one benefit), much higher tax rate and controls on business - tanking the economy, and an educational system dedicated to teaching socialism and Marxism ideology Uber Alles.

Those are only some of the radical Dems platforms - they will try to hide behind a semi-mindless Biden - but if they get the House, Senate, and POTUS =- there will never again be anything but One party rule in Amerika.

... Apparently, you lost the message in his story.

It's the same message when people make fun of the number of people who attended the rally after having spent days/weeks whining about how dangerous it is to attend the Rally and the Mayor of Tulsa zaps those waiting to get in with a curfew....and then the television audience is revealed.

You and yours spend your time criticizing Trump and trying to demoralize his support with your bullshit ...but NEVER (OR RARELY) saying anything positive about YOUR CANDIDATE! You and yours (LapDog!) are TRANSPARENT!

LapDog is the type of immature trash supporting Biden aka BITTEN! Afraid of books and statues. Originally Posted by LexusLover

8 million watched the rally. Are you dismissing that? Plus people who watched on line. It’s my opinion that thousands of people show up in a closed arena during a pandemic and possible violence counts for something. And Comparing Trumps event to Biden’s last week is pertinent. It does show a deep contrast. I did say the Trump campaign will have to rethink the rallies. People aren’t ready to gather in masses yet. Unless you’re a protester or looter. Did the Trump campaign miscalculate this? Yes. Is it some sort of black eye? No. BTW, how do you know Trump didn’t change any minds? That’s a Speedyesque statement. You don’t know. Neither do the pollls. Originally Posted by bambino

And those that showed up were hardcore supporters for the large part or likely hardcore hecklers on the other side. I doubt many undecideds risked going to it.

And yes, I'm whole on and have been saying it's too early to take either the polls or enthusiasm levels as any sort of gospel this early on.

But as a Trump supporter, this weekend wasn't exactly an enthusiastic positive and I know at least from anecdotal discussion, that I'm not alone.

You can certainly disagree, but I don't see a sudden Trump surge based on the weekend.

While the LSM crows about a crowd of 9,600+ in Tulsa, limited by the local fire marshals/cops/BOK employees/whom ever, while thousands more waited outside - Joe gave a prepared and followed speech on Wednesday in Philadelphia to a crowd of almost 20 people. Comrade Joe followed his teleprompter slowly and plodded through. No Q&A that I am aware of. They just tossed a sheet over him and put him back in his cage.

I suspect the same will happen this year. There are more forces against Trump this time around. They are more organized than 2016. Its evident by the riots.

The only people right now being seduced are those who think the Tulsa rally way in any way positive for Trump and that Trump will just somehow automatically repeat his 2016 election.

Biden is indeed a terrible candidate, but in my eyes not as bad or divisive as Hillary was.

Trump only beat Hillary by a few votes in a few key states.

I'm saying Trump supporters need to get real and not just assume a repeat. We need to work for it and the Tulsa rally was not a highpoint for Trump.

And I take it as a compliment that I might be sounding somewhat like Speedy. He's a realist. He gives a slight edge to Trump in most of his posts. I do to. But to pretend Trump is a given or even as you say you "suspect" the same will happen in 2020 is to ignore current events.

Trump in my humble opinion needs to do a lot better.

I was far more confident in Trumps prospects before Covid and the riots. This just fuels more negative coverage of Trump. Hillary may have been more divisive than Biden, but she appeared to have all of her faculties. To me, Biden simply can’t handle the rigors of the Presidency. According to the polls, I’m in the minority opinion on that. In my opinion, we won’t see a surge in the polls for Trump. Even if he can pack Jerry’s World. The media and the polls won’t let that happen. As for Tulsa, Trump showed up and performed with the same energy, enthusiasm and effort as he did in prior rallies. I think he will tirelessly campaign as he did in 2016. When he did change some Democrats minds. And as you and Speedy have said, he only won by a few thousand votes in some swing states. But he won and that’s all that counts. I think this election will go down to the wire as well. Am I as confident as I was in January? No. Do I think he’s going to win? Yes. God help us if the mob wins.

About polls.
A poll is no better than the questions and responses. I keep saying this: Kerry listened to the exit polling in Ohio in 2004 on election day and didn't stop there to campaign, but flew on to Boston for the victory party.

Look around on this board ... on TV ... at work .... bars .... wherever you go ... and see what outrageous, disgusting, and immature remarks people to those who they suspect are or will be voting for Trump .... so when many people answer the questions about Trump THEY LIE ... just so they won't have to listen or put up with the stupid BULLSHIT.

I don't make fun of anyone who says they are going to vote for Bitten ..... it's hard to find anyone who says they support him. They will "anonymously" report that to a pollster, but a Trump supporter won't say shit and the pollster marks it down as a Bitten supporter! That's what happened in 2016 & that's what is happening today.

Bitten can't stay in the basement until Election Day .. figuratively or otherwise. The DNC LOONS are not picking a VP with Presidential level administrative abilities and qualities in domestic and international affairs .... they are picking someone based on "identity politics" ... "it's time for a woman of color" to be .... errrr....vice-president?

I'm an equal opportunity lie buster. I continually show how the left lies about Trump and his statements and I will do the same for Speedy. Much of what he says is completely spot on and realistic, just like Trump. Now, I'm sure he hates that comparison, but it is what it is.

the surge started the day Trump announced he was running. the press then spent over a year desperately trying to deny Trump had any voter base at all. they knew he did but they weren't going to ever admit it.

and these are the same assholes who claim Trump supporters are vile and disgusting. it's clear many people leaning toward voting for Trump misled any pollsters due to the huge negative press effort against Trump. that was 2016. today i think your reason is more to the point, Trump supporters are tired of the negativity and just don't want to hear all the crap from Trump haters. and they are still "sandbagging" the polls.

Joey is gonna fumble this pick. he can't go back on his word now or he'll be done as a candidate. by forcing the issue of a black female as his VP he stands to lose a lot of female support from white, hispanic and asian women. he needs a home run pick and there aren't many out there no matter how hard he looks. i'm not saying there isn't a qualified black politico for VP i'm saying i have not seen one being considered by Biden yet. probably Susie Rice based only on the losers he's floated so far .. like Fatso Abrams who seems to be dropping like a rock in the Biden camp. or maybe not. lol.

if he picks some radical black VP candidate running around telling whites how racist they are he's done. OVER.

Biden is far more likely to strike out big than he is hitting a home run on this pick. Biden will lose bigly if he screws this up and the odds are he will.
