Gay columnist: let’s face it, we want to indoctrinate children
05/19/2011 at 3:32 PM By Catholic Citizens of Illinois
As the same-sex “marriage” battle heats up again in New York, one writer at a prominent gay news source is questioning why his lobby refuses to admit that the gay agenda involves “indoctrinating” schoolchildren to accept homosexuality.
Queerty contributor Daniel Villarreal [LGBT activist & Texas professor] criticized (WARNING site contains inappropriate images) the homosexual movement’s knee-jerk reaction against accusations of meddling in public schools. Villarreal pointed to a recent National Organization for Marriage (NOM) ad launched in New York that points out how homosexual indoctrination has been introduced in Massachusetts and California schools.
While gay activists usually deny that they want to indoctrinate children, said Villarreal, “let’s face it-that’s a lie.” “We want educators to teach future generations of children to accept queer sexuality. In fact, our very future depends on it,” he wrote.
Poor IB.Poor Old-THUMPER, he doesn't understand the definition of "indoctrinate" ...
Accept does not mean "become". It means "accept", as in don't discriminate against them--just as most people believe we should refrain from discriminating against other people for no valid reason.
And while are on "agendas" I have never seen by gay neighbors go door to door being obnoxious and overbearing as I see (and have been subjected to) by various religious groups. THAT is an attempt to convert and goes well past "acceptance". Do you support Thumpers far more agressive agenda of conversion? Originally Posted by Old-T

2 : to imbue ["hardwire", Old-THUMPER, i.e., "become"] with a usually partisan or sectarian opinion, point of view, or principle
So long as what they come back for are parts of those American rights you referenced--i.e. those any other American expects--I will completely support them and will call anyone who opposes it based on their sexual agenda a bigot. As soon as they start asking for "extra" benefits I will be opposing them. Unlike you I refuse to say they should be second class citizens because "I know" that somewhere down the line they will ask for extra rights. Since you cannot point out where that has happened so far, and since there are plenty of areas where they do not have equal rights, I do consider your perspective today to be homophobic.
