I would have chosen the IX center by the airport. Limited access to the building as well as the road into it. Also very easy to get to from downtown via the train that runs to the airport. But that's just me.
BTW... they won't be taking down the huge banner of LeBron James at the Quicken Arena.Hope they don't mind sharing the stage. Originally Posted by Loxly

It no longer matter which team is better as both teams get trophies. We congratulate both teams for a game well played. There is a new trend in youth sports in which scores are not kept to keep the kiddos from feeling sad if they are the worse team. What is that teaching our kids? In adulthood, not everybody wins. We are not teaching kids how to handle losing, not being respected, how to deal with bullying. It is a different time. Not for the best.
Sorry for this little rant but I am raising kids and it is sad that I find it difficult to raise them in the ways that I want to. I do the best I can and have wonderful people who give me great advice. Sometimes I do feel undermined in our new touchy feel system.
Anyways, just my take on the youth today and on Parenting. Originally Posted by Victoria Columbari
