Capitalism Has Failed—What Next?

Since I am pretty close to the top economically, (top five percent), I think things are going pretty good.

I read the article. One of the biggest "pity parties" I've read on a while.

What can I say. Being born a caucasion male is pretty darned good. Originally Posted by Jackie S

On the other hand anyone can become a millionare today. Just invest 10% of your pay check into a 401k or an IRA. If you can't get a 401k where you work, try a mutual fund like the Vanguard Total Index 500. It's ranked number one by the USA today.

Wages are up under Sleepy Joe and Kamala. You can make $100,000 just delivering the mail for UPS. At the Quick Trip gas station in North Dallas, you can make $65,000 just being a cashier.

Capitalism is working just fine in the USA!

I think that we can both agree that Capitalism in the USA is working. It's not just working for Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, E. Musk and Mark Zuckerberg.

Look at the contracts that Union heads at UPS and UAW are getting for their workers.

Capitalism is working just fine for most people. You are going to have a couple of losers out of 330 million people. The government has a safety net for them.

Socialism can only exist because of the gains capitalism makes for society. You can be a socialist in a capitalist system, you cannot be a capitalist in a socialist system.

It's not allowed, you will be eliminated. Because the contrast between what has proven to work vs. what has proven to fail every time is so stark.

Yes, as Hillary said, they need to be deprogramed. All he is told is "Socialism bad", "equality bad" (go figure), "diversity bad". He sucks it down and swallows with a smile.

You sound like you believe that Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Magic Johnson and Williams sisters (Tennis champs) are the only black people to get out of the projects. There is a significant black middle class. Next time you are in Los Angeles have some one point you to Baldwin Hills. There was a television show on a Cable TV channel about that neighborhood.

There are people still stuck in the projects. One can get out if they wish too. There are black doctors, lawyers, engineers, millionairs and several black Billionairs. The USA has had a black president and a black vice president. Kamala went to a better law school than former Vice President Mike Pence. The systemic racism that was like 60 years ago, when black football players could not play in the Southeastern or Southwestern conference of the NCAA even if you could run the ball like Hrshal Walker.

After Obama and Tim Geitner cleaned up the mess on Wall Street that Bush and Dick Cheney left behind in 2008, one theme of administration was that every one gets a fair shot. That does not mean that everyone will have the same outcome.

Law Enforcment has brought harm to some innocent black people, that is not a systemic thing. Not every police officer is a bad cop.

BTW, HRC was talking about Trump voters. I did not vote for Trump. Have a nice day.

No, but I was thinking along the same lines. The more money you have, the longer you can filibuster.
