4 Moderators..... So.... Is it OK if.......

Sixx, the material that prompted the individual question was public and there's no reason for the resulting question and answer not to be public as well...I thought u were a fan of transparency?
You are really feeling feisty tonight aren't you?

Hannah,

If you addressed a question and only want Vyt's response... try using PM's....

Hannah,

You know darn well when you ask something on the open board, it's subject to be answered by someone other than the intended member.

Yeah, I am a little feisty. I have been eating much healthier and I am fucking craving a cheeseburger!!!

I, generally speaking, agree with your opinion Vygt. There is a difference between the two boards and Eccie has more "in your face" postings and controversy. As i have said before it is my opinion some of this is a good thing, and keeps it interesting. I believe Eccie is much more promising than ASPD. I just have concerns that many people cannot feel comfortable posting here because of the likelihood they will be "trashed and bashed" by a over-age group of would-be Fraternity Brothers. That's just my opinion. That won't buy you anything. But I respect you giving your opinion.

Ah come on oralick, you seem to be posting just fine. If others don't want to post, it falls on them. I guess since your asslick yssup was banned, you have to take up the good fight?

Actually, I thought "trashed and bashed" by a over-age group of would-be Fraternity Brothers was pretty good, Sixx. I guess you didn't find the humor in it. Just think what a neat avatar it could be. And what do you mean by "your asslick Yssup". Never met the guy, never had my ass licked, and "no, you can't" if you ever ask.

Err on the side of respectful behavior not verbal diarrhea. This site isn't 'free speech' but is a business hence their own rules that are not a copy/paste from the constitution.

To say to err on the side of free speech does not mean install the constitution here - that's a long jump to that conclusion.

I'll put it this way. While I don't always agree with what Whispers says, I will defend his right to say it (until the board owners decide to change the guidelines and methods with which they implement those guidelines). Whispers is the Larry Flint of ECCIE, and Yssup is the WBC of ECCIE.

putting your opinion forth is one thing, calling people names is childish and makes arguments... weaker. In a review to state opinion about bitchiness, mane haterish, assholish is fine. In coed? its stupid 3rd grade humor and doesn't promote the sharing of any information other than self alerting. imo

I'm sure you debated in school, its usually part of the curriculum. At what point was it ok to go from expressing your free speech to saying.. "well your pathetic and fat so fuck you, I win!"

Its not his message or anyone else's. The vocabulary and nasty personal insults, while entertaining on a long work day, make me less inclined to consider his message.
