Ugly game. Shouldn't have been as close as it was. Originally Posted by HDGristle

frankly surprised Dak and the cowgirls didn't choke at the end

Like I said, don’t underestimate Tomlins ability to fuck things up.

... I think the Steelers need to lighten up the colour shade
of the pants they were... switch the yellow-gold over to
the whitish-gold - so it looks more the colour of Swiss cheese
- like their running defence. ...
More holes in it than the Harris/Walz economic plan.

It can't always be the coaches when they lose, and the players when they win. That's a child's viewpoint. Uneducated, lacking nuance.
One thing that is Tomlins fault is he always has an underperforming defense. Steelers defense has never been great since he forced Dick Lebeow out. Receivers running wide open, gapping holes in the line and confused looks on players faces. Is his scheme too complicated? Why not run more man to man if it is. It just isn’t working despite most of our money going to that side of the ball. Can all of these middle linebackers be that bad?……or is it the scheme?

And WTF is up with a running play on 3rd and 8 at Dallas’s 28 freaking yard line!!!?
Come on man….thats high school play calling.

QBs can’t produce when you won’t let them.

Coulda used a little help, Steelers.

Us REAL Texas football fans don't need to see Dallas win anything!

As with everything in team sports, execution is every bit as important as coaching.

They lost to two 2/10 teams in a row last year. The Cowboys and Colts aren’t great teams either. When they do make the playoffs, they get trucked.
I was a Tomlin supporter until about 3yrs ago. I can’t support him anymore.

... Lemme remind you mates that not many of us believed the
Steelers would win more than 6 or 7 games this year.
The lads ARE 3-2. ... Gonna have peaks and valleys throughout
the season. ... Other sides got many of the same problems.

... Let's all try to hold our water a bit while we continue
to let this programme play-out. Would a record of 5-3
after 8 games IMPRESS people??
