What prompted me to save this wet-dream non-review was DD's assertion in post #129 that "this was a review," which it never was, as DD must have soon realized, compelling him to close the non-review wet dream thread.

In all humble deference to the RockStar's official repository,

I respectfully project disdain for this closing on a whim:

Not the man, the closing of discussion reflects enough.

While I'm at it, I need to point out this non-review:

http://eccie.net/showthread.php?t=1019243

Was allowed to stay in reviews even though no activities took place. I didn't want to bump it. Seems to be a big Syracuse thing, reviews without activities and/or fees. But they're by and large Boeheim fans, so it sort of makes sense.

It's hard to feel respect when the discussion just ends, because I said so. Politeness does not equal respect.

Censorship while at the same time mentioning that which should not be mentioned. As closed minded as it gets.

A gardening thread was obliterated today. At least I think it was about gardening. Vanished it did. Poof. Gone. It's not there either. It's somewhere, but I'll never find it. Broke about four hundred and twenty rules, at that rate, you don't get closed, you get erased. I get it, it was completely against the spirit of the site. So it makes for an interesting censorship issue, because even though censorship is bad, it is sometimes benevolent. But would it be the same in Colorado, or Washington? Which doesn't matter, as the rules of the site aren't written that way. But those rules aren't the reality of the hobby. That reality of the hobby is messy though, especially as it was in the thread in question. Which is gone. Poof.

Do not mistake my censorship discussion for an approval of that thread. That thread opened a can of worms that, while of the mildest form of threat, does present a threat to what the owners of this website are trying to accomplish. The conundrum is that while I am all for the reality, and all against the censorship, I completely understand the latter of the former in this case. Like in a good movie, when you want to root for the bad guy or against the good guy. Threads like that create unwanted attention.

yes but sometimes they have closed threads with just a little mention of it, and they let others go with a big mention of other things that attract le.

no consistency at all maybe because different mods but let some go.

Rooster would close alerts at the drop of a hat when some had some nice info for the boys in them

Now if be good (not for me to say) it is only by coincidence. But in the metaphoric good vs. evil sense, this was a win-win, for even though we lose everytime we bicker a way to a closing, we win by closing this review that was supposedly 'about her'. But if it had stayed open, we'd have kept winning but kept losing for playing.

Getting this Close This Thread closed will not be by compiling a comprehensive thread of closed threads, I just might want to read the '12 info later, and now I know where it is.

There are three threads growing long past their purpose, to my humble liking at least. One was closed today.
