Kabul is about to fall along with the rest of Afghanistan. Get ready for the horror of retribution of the people who assisted us get slaughtered. Was it inevitable? Maybe. But the speed of which this takeback is happening I doubt would be happening under Trump's watch.

Now a return to the good old days of soccer stadium executions.

Thanks Dims. Thanks Taliban. Thanks Squad. Coming to a stadium near you. Originally Posted by gnadfly

Biden's people tried to get Afgan leaders to make concessions to the Taliban so a rapid take over could be prevented. They did not. It's not Biden's job to give the AG people the will to fight. We have been training them for about 20 years.

Bottom line: The Afgan leaders failed their people not Joe Biden.

From the link:

But key American decisions were made long before July, when the consensus among intelligence agencies was that the Afghan government could hang on for as long as two years, which would have left ample time for an orderly exit. On April 27, when the State Department ordered the departure of nonessential personnel from the embassy in Kabul, the overall intelligence assessment was still that a Taliban takeover was at least 18 months away, according to administration officials.

Putting the inability to craft a statement in English aside, I am academically curious as to just how the FUCK you know what was contained in "intelligence reports" available to "Biden" and even if "Biden" read the GD reports even if he could comprehend the English language better than you?

One of "Biden's" cabinet members (THE DIRECTOR OF HOMELAND SECURITY!!!! .... who by the way has access to "intelligence reports") was just caught LYING to the U.S. citizens about the fucking mess the idiot for whom you voted created on the border!

I recognize that you, like all the other slogs in this country who voted for a demented idiot with a criminal son he raised, must continue to justify your own ignorance and stupidity by voting for A ZERO mentally and cognitively .... disregarding the SAFETY of the United States citizens ... but at least try to be honest in your discussions UNLIKE "BIDEN'S" CABINET!!!!

When the Afghan's start blowing up shit in this country are you going to still blame TRUMP?

Now ... as for YOUR INTELLIGENCE ASSESSMENT FROM YOUR REVIEW OF INTELLIGENCE REPORTS ...

I'll take the NY Times "ASSESSMENT" for the time being:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world...edgdhp&pc=U531

Intelligence Warned of Afghanistan Military Collapse, Despite Biden’s Assurances
WASHINGTON — Classified assessments by American spy agencies over the summer painted an increasingly grim picture of the prospect of a Taliban takeover of Afghanistan and warned of the rapid collapse of the Afghan military, even as President Biden and his advisers said publicly that was unlikely to happen as quickly, according to current and former American government officials.

By July, many intelligence reports grew more pessimistic, questioning whether any Afghan security forces would muster serious resistance and whether the government could hold on in Kabul, the capital. President Biden said on July 8 that the Afghan government was unlikely to fall and that there would be no chaotic evacuations of Americans similar to the end of the Vietnam War.

The drumbeat of warnings over the summer raise questions about why Biden administration officials, and military planners in Afghanistan, seemed ill-prepared to deal with the Taliban’s final push into Kabul, including a failure to ensure security at the main airport and rushing thousands more troops back to the country to protect the United States’ final exit.
That's "Trump's Fault"? Ignoring current intelligence assessments?

Like I said: There will be an investigation. Cabinet members LIED TO CONGRESS! Just like they've done about the border INSECURITY!

Pat yourself on the back for your vote! Six months into this disaster and look what you've done!

Their partners are facilitating their vote harvesting out of Central and South America. Some of the potential voters being brought to the border by their partners are from countries which have historically sought to attack the U.S. mainland. Like on 911.

There’s a well supported news article (not an editorial) in the Financial Times today that uses sources close to European leaders and defense ministers. It blasts the poorly-thought-out Biden/Trump withdrawal from Afghanistan. The sources say this greatly weakens NATO. Europeans experience with Trump over NATO and now Biden’s botched withdrawal indicates the USA cannot be trusted in an alliance. Several NATO members, I think the UK, Italy and Turkey, wanted to keep a contingent of their soldiers in Afghanistan but decided it wasn’t viable without the Baghram air base that the USA is closing. The British defense minister was on the verge of tears, over the lives that will be lost.

Recall that it was the USA which brought the Europeans into Afghanistan, because of 9/11.

I’d link to the article but it keeps opening in my FT app and I think you need to subscribe to read it.. You can google “nato allies urge rethink on alliance” if you want to find it.

China’s state media controlled Global Times is making hay with this on Taiwan. In addition to what you’d expect, questioning whether Taiwan can rely on the USA as an ally, they’re threatening to invade if John Cornyn’s tweet saying there are US troops on Taiwan is true. And stating there’s no way the USA is willing to fight a war against China if it’s not even willing to leave a small support contingent in Afghanistan. Which is true.

Not so. Trumps plan was a controlled withdrawal. US citizens and Afghan allies would have been evacuated first. All weapons would have been secured. The rest would have been destroyed. Like the border, Biden should have adopted Trumps plans and policies. Biden pulled forces out of Bagram AF base in the middle of the night without warning the Afghan government. A clear signal to the Taliban the US was in full retreat. 1000’s of US citizens are now stranded there. Afghan allies are being hung and beheaded. What do you Taiwan is thinking right now? Are we a dependable Allie? No Tiny, the outcome would have been much different. Originally Posted by bambino
