" Frankly my darling, I don't give a damn".. Humphry Bogart.... "Casablanca"
In the movie Papillon which came out in 1973, Steve McQueen plays a safecracker who is framed for murder and sent to the French Penal colony in Guiana. There is a scene where Papillon, Steve McQueens character is hallucinating because he is being starved to death by the warden. Papillon is walking in the desert and sees a group of French judges and the prosecutor. The prosecutor says to Papillon, " I accuse you!" and Papillon replies " I didnt kill that pimp!". And the prosecutor says "You're real crime is not a pimps death". And says "Well what then?". The prosecutor says, "I accuse you of the greatest crime a human being can committ. I accuse you of a wasted life!" And Papillon says, "guilty!"

From "Casablanca," "Shocked, shocked" is the short version of this exchange:

Captain Renault: I'm shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here!
[a croupier hands Renault a pile of money]
Croupier: Your winnings, sir.
Captain Renault: [sotto voce] Oh, thank you very much.

Tony Montana: Who put this thing together? Me, that's who! Who do I trust? Me!

and pulp fictions
Jules: There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy My brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay My vengeance upon you." Now... I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, that meant your ass. You'd be dead right now. I never gave much thought to what it meant. I just thought it was a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker before I popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice. See, now I'm thinking: maybe it means you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. 9mm here... he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or it could mean you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. And I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd.

Of course I know the most famous quote from "Gone With The Wind" it is my favorite movie of all time with "Casablanca" coming in 2nd. I had both movies on my mind among other things! :-))

" Here is looking at you kid" .... Bogart. " Casablanca"
"I haven't been fucked like that since grade school."
"We're a generation of men raised by women. I'm wondering if another woman is really the answer we need."

Tyler Durden: Shut up! Our fathers were our models for God. If our fathers bailed, what does that tell you about God?
Narrator: No, no, I... don't...
Tyler Durden: Listen to me! You have to consider the possibility that God does not like you. He never wanted you. In all probability, he hates you. This is not the worst thing that can happen.
Narrator: It isn't?
Tyler Durden: We don't need him!
