Yeah. I discovered that "main stream" isn't literal (meaning streamed on dish, cable, satellite, antenae (sp) ). Originally Posted by Precious_b

Except I never once said Trump good. I just said he's better than whatever the hell else is out there. Trump doesn't have to be "good" for the other side to be a complete sack of shit.

And you showed your ethics are different than mine and probably are the same as trumps.
You mean making money? Yeah, no shit. If you're in business and you can get away with making more money, why wouldn't you?

But other than that, there were some points we agree on and you gave up a point or two.
Except I never gave up any points at all. You just assumed my point about things like healthcare and the GOP. I've always maintained my positions. You being on the opposite side doesn't mean anything.

Gosh dogs. You got anything stronger than "allegedly" as an allegation?
I mean, the blue dress remind you of anything?

You're the guy who thinks Trump isn't a billionaire because you haven't seen his numbers. This, despite numerous publications saying otherwise. You're just looking to confirm your bias by a report that you and I both don't give a damn about.

So ditch the allegedly moniker and cough up a fact like you always demand.
No. You're the one making accusations of Trump being so awful and mean and evil, so YOU come up with facts. Not opinion pieces, not editorials. Actual facts. But we both know you're too lazy to do that so you want me to do it instead. SAD.

Bengazi is a non-flyer since I remember everything that a non-mainstream media channel (by your definition) gave a blow by blow every evening (my time) as events were unfolding for a week prior and the known m.o. of the ambassador there.
She lied about Benghazi being a response to a Youtube video, dude. We all know it was a terrorist attack.

A great loss all around but misdirected blame that i have already stated.
It was a terrorist attack. And she, and Obama, is where the buck stops. But they tried to pass it off as something not terror related. It is a great loss, further exacerbated by Clinton being a piece of shit about it.

Post the Haiti stuff since i'm ignorant to what you mean.

LMAO on the greed statement. Look me up. I don't use a handle here. You can ask ANYONE that knows me first hand about my greed factor. With your admitted ethical quotient, you can't even fathom how $$$ money motivates me. To sum it up, those that know me would be spitting their beer out after reading your statement.
Yeah, I really don't give a shit what others say about you. You've made it clear that you want massive wealth redistribution and that IS greed. Pure and simple.

Why did trump up the game on the kid imprisonment thing?
he... wasn't? It wasn't like Trump went to ICE and told them "keep them in cages" you know? Has it ever occurred to you that things happen in every parts of the country that he is not made immediately privy to?

He has been tearing all things Obama down. Why would he accelerate that?
Because he didn't? Also, this completely ignores that separating parents and children is NOT something morally reprehensible if a parent RISKED THE CHILD'S LIFE TO CROSS THE BORDER ILLEGALLY. That is called bad parenting and any parent that fucking crosses a desert to come into another country illegally does not deserve to be a parent.

Why new trump-administration rules stand to block the public from knowing anything about the treatment of migrant children in America’s detention facilities.
The better question is, why should Trump's administration give two shits about migrants in the first place who cross illegally?

Why after all the heat on him about *his* policies his admin enacted on it that his wife had to go and try to save face for him and visit? Give me an answer.
Gee, I don't know. Could it be that Mexicans crossing the border illegally probably doesn't want to see the man whose entire campaign was about stopping illegal immigration? Women are better at things that require a more sensitive touch.

Obama was the great deporter.
No, he wasn't. He stopped actual immigration at the border and the Democrats considered that "deportation." Deportating means we kick someone's ass out. Saying no at the border is not deporting.

trump took it further in means.
Good, I want Trump to kick out illegal immigrants.

So show me where he took it upon himself to stop these things.
When ICE endorsed him.

Especially before his wife got involved.
When he got elected.

Quote:
Many people have posted other things.

Another of your patented goto replies that has no substance those it was a jab at a generalization. Ignorable.
Except they are lies. Things like Trump's response to covid, words he actually said on the campaign trail, Russia, "racist" comments. All lies. And they've been debunked after having context added. But YOU ignore all of these, then keep hammering the same talking point. You are AWFUL at debating.

Hey, you give me a source for the definition of evil that gives a quantitative, and i'll reply in kind, seeing you don't like the one I found.
I didn't like the one you found because it was a sentence full of words that you tried to string together to sound intelligent, but made you come off as someone who just used a thesaurus.

And I definitely have a bias, just as you have. I can list a couple of them.
No need. You're a greedy leftist who wants the rich to have less because you want poor to have more. That's socialism.

You wouldn't understand some since you admit you'd cheat on things knowingly so morally (I know, you don't care about morals) your bias would ring true and through.
There's nothing "morally" wrong about hiring an illegal immigrant who wants to work for less money than hiring a non-illegal. I offer him a wage. He agrees. We both get what we want.

And stop trying to dodge the question. You point out a few of the big cheetos mistakes.
You're the one saying he makes mistakes. You're against him. Why not YOU fucking do some damn work instead of asking others to do it? Why are you so damn lazy, dude?

Don't do a childish diversion. As Chung stated, "Trumpers" will never admit a single thing he ever did wrong, so why would I attempt to argue a point that they disagree with?"
The "Trumpers" on this thread never said he didn't make mistakes, though. They're CORRECTING false assumptions by ignorant people like you and Chung who refuse to either listen to a quote entirely, look at the facts and/or take context into consideration.

But, of course you and Chung will think "You Trumpers think he's always right" when your position is that he's always wrong and he's evil and he's orange and he's mean and he's hitler and he kills grandma with covid and so on.

If Fauci is his biggest mistake, and i'll give you that since you've already stated in the past your opinion/bias? on that, you won't say anything about the deaths in this country from his milk toast effort in stopping the spread of virus in this country?
He "listened to the science" dude.

He shut down the economy for a month and a half. He banned travel coming in from China and Europe, something LIBERALS HAVE CALLED HIM RACIST FOR.

He sent over a literal battleship of support to NYC to aid the city.

He passed a stimulus even despite the fact that Nancy Pelosi shoehorned her stupid wish list of millions donated to her damn art center.

Tell me why you're accusing Trump of doing less in this pandemic WHEN THE FUCKING MEDIA AND "EXPERTS" WERE ALSO DOWNPLAYING IT

Don't say that is up to the states because that will imply that trump can't lead.
It IS up to the states, dude. Again, if you were Trump, knowing what you knew at the time, what would YOU have done differently? Since Chung can't answer this, maybe you can. Let me guess - masks? Oh, you mean the masks that Fauci himself said we shouldn't stock up on since doctors need it more? The masks that actually don't really do that much? loool.

And what is it with you not being able to say he makes mistakes when trump will never own any of his shortcomings/failures. Another childish dodge on your part.
I never said he didn't make mistakes, though. You assume I'm saying that because you and all of the lefties here are spouting outright bullshit that has been repeatedly debunked.

Here are Trump's mistakes :

Not forcing the states to open up their entire economy
Not firing Fauci
Not putting Hillary in jail
Not defunding Planned Parenthood.
Not completely building the wall yet
Not deporting illegal aliens with impunity
Not punching Schumer and Pelosi in their face

The mistakes Trump made is he wasn't MORE like Trump.

I would not have made an Idiot of myself on March 6 (round about), when Trump said anyone who wants a test can get a test. I would have taken responsibility as a Leader. invoked the War Powers Act, mobilized a National effort to stamp out the virus. Trump finally decided to abdicate leadership entirely. he made a calculated move when he announced that he was giving it up to the States to deal with the virus. that allowed Trump to wash his hands, AND sit back and criticize Governors for infringing on personal liberties. like his tweet about the Redneck, gun-toting Marchers in Michigan. he took the low road, blasting Whitmire for depriving those good people of their rights. Trump refused to believe the virus was a threat, assembling his minions in Tulsa for a Bullshit rally that was noted for his getting punked by teenagers making fake reservations.. Trump was boasting about "millions" of ticket requests, the turnout was 7,000, LOL.. no masks, no social-distancing. no Herman Cain 6 weeks later, RIP.

yeah, I know Pelosi walked China Town, and Biden said Trump was a Xenophobe, Fauci said masks were stupid. the Trump Team always mentions that, to side-step Trump's huge failing. but those people were sounding the alarm by early March, Trump continued to fist fight reality.

He said he would like things to be better by Easter, not vigorously promote it. Actually, I agree with you on this one. I think Trump SHOULD have forced the economy to open. He shouldn't have played it so "safe."

I would have taken responsibility as a Leader. invoked the War Powers Act, mobilized a National effort to stamp out the virus.
How exactly do you "stamp out" a virus, Chung? Like, seriously. Considering the common cold (another coronavirus) hasn't been stamped out, what makes you think this would have been any better? lol, get real.

Trump kept denying there was a problem, the virus was going to wither away, despite Fauci and others saying the pandemic was worsening.
Fauci AND the media downplayed the virus, dude. I mean, there is literally a compilation of the media saying this wasn't anything more than a flu. And Fauci himself, on camera, saying this wasn't a big deal.

And isn't Trump supposed to "listen to the science"?

Trump finally decided to abdicate leadership entirely. he made a calculated move when he announced that he was giving it up to the States to deal with the virus.
That is not an abdication of leadership, Chung. That is LITERALLY IN THE BILL OF RIGHTS. Trump has repeatedly aided states, if they needed help on the federal level.

Seriously, has it ever occurred to you that you can't just issue a one-size fits all order to every state when

1. Their population density vastly differs
2. They have reported different numbers of infections.

Do you really think Trump can treat a state like South Dakota to a state like New York?

I mean, Trump is trying to help Chicago deal with the riots and violence by sending in federal help, but the mayor is dead set against it. You think other states will be that different?

that allowed Trump to wash his hands, AND sit back and criticize Governors for infringing on personal liberties.
Bill. of. Rights. Chung. Just like how Biden can't institute a nationwide mask-wearing mandate, Trump can't just take the power away from the states to do things their way.

And funny, it's only the blue states like Cali, NY, Michigan that are infringing on people's rights.

OTOH, Trump could have done what you wanted, Chung. And then you'd probably be here bitching and crying about how Trump is abusing his power.

like his tweet about the Redneck, gun-toting Marchers in Michigan. he took the low road, blasting Whitmire for depriving those good people of their rights.
Why are you call them rednecks? What a shitty attitude you have, dude. It doesn't make you look any more knowledgeable about basic rights, dude. And news flash, Whitmire IS depriving people of their rights.

Tell me, Chung, what exactly do you have against people actually having freedoms? You seem to want a totalitarian state in which Trump has absolute power over every state. But at the same time, you clearly don't like him. Make up your mind!

Trump refused to believe the virus was a threat
That's... because.. it... isn't... duh?

assembling his minions in Tulsa for a Bullshit rally that was noted for his getting punked by teenagers making fake reservations..
And you wonder why people are against mass mail in voting, lol.

Trump was boasting about "millions" of ticket requests, the turnout was 7,000
Lol. He is very hyperbolic, I agree. But I don't think anyone really believed about the million thing, Trump included.

, LOL.. no masks, no social-distancing. no Herman Cain 6 weeks later, RIP.
Yeah, man, I mean, it wasn't like tens of thousands of people were protesting against racism or anything also with no social distancing and no masks.. oh wait.

The reality is, Chung, everyone is going to get this virus. Everyone. And believe it or not, most people are going to be okay even so! So, good on Trump for not being a damn pussy who wants everyone to be afraid of their own damn shadows.

You do realize that Herman Cain was also a cancer survivor, right? And, like, really, really old? As callous as this might sound, Cain knew the risk and he came out anyway, to support a cause he believed in. Rather than respecting a man for doing what he wanted to, you shit on his grave by trying to make it a political point. That's a pretty shitty thing to do, Chung.

yeah, I know Pelosi walked China Town, and Biden said Trump was a Xenophobe, Fauci said masks were stupid. the Trump Team always mentions that, to side-step Trump's huge failing.
So, Trump listens to the leading epidemiologist about the severity of the virus. As well as the media, who ALSO said it wasn't a big deal... and you're calling him a failure because he acted on the information he had at the time? That's like saying "I knew it would have been these numbers to win the Jackpot, I should have chosen them!"

God, you're ignorant, Chung.

but those people were sounding the alarm by early March, Trump continued to fist fight reality.
Trump issued the ban from China before these people took the virus seriously. And he even created the coronavirus task force while they were calling him racist.

Pelosi and Schumer then tried to make the virus a political talking point, which Trump later called a hoax, and the media misconstrued it as Trump saying the virus itself was a hoax.

Are you EVER sick of being so wrong all the time, Chung?

Trump doesn't have this level of power over the states. He can force law and order with troops, however, he doesn't have the power to interfere with the various levels of lockdown, particularly when the majority of the states are still using HIS guidelines to shut things down.

Not firing Fauci
We agree on this one-- but for different reasons. The fact that he has kept him on, though-- suggests to me that behind the bluster, there must be a reason that Trump trusts him. He's not one to keep guys that aren't "yes men" around.

Not putting Hillary in jail
He's got the power to have her investigated incessantly... but that doesn't mean she'll end up in jail. Trump cannot simply throw her in jail. He can only push the investigation.

Not defunding Planned Parenthood.
Congress has to be a part of that. If they ONLY performed abortions and not numerous other health services-- it would be easier. But I know the clinic closest to myself doesn't even offer abortion-- its only a health center.

Not completely building the wall yet
Exactly how much of a deficit would you like the country to be in? Yeah-- liberals are tax and spent but... Republicans want to cut taxes, yet still spend like crazy.

Not deporting illegal aliens with impunity
Agreed. If you are here illegally and don't take any of the steps to fix that (under the Geneva convention, you have a set amount of days to file for asylum protections, even if you entered illegally) then you should be sent back on the next autobus'

Not punching Schumer and Pelosi in their face
Meh-- dunno why you'd think he would. He's not exactly known for physical altercations.. aside from grabbing em by the pussy-- and who in the hell wants to grab Pelosi by the pussy?

I know why he's keeping him around. It helps to have a "professional" in this "pandemic" to make Trump look like he's got some level of impartiality with regards to bureaucrats. Here's to hoping he fires Fauci after he gets re-elected.

Fucker Fauci.

The amount Trump requested for the wall is pales in comparison to what the government spends even in a given week. We have art programs in schools that are more funded than the wall.

I agree that Republicans and Democrats both spend more money than they admit to. Wonder how many politicians have mistresses on the side they're spending millions on each year.

I'm sure he's used illegal workers in his establishments as most have in that industry.

Arts programs in schools aren't as well funded as some believe-- one of my kiddos works in the field and there are a lot of districts where any and all fine arts are on life support. And while I know some feel that arts as a whole are useless, there is a lot of data to support that at the very least, kids who study music also get higher grades in math.

I'm sure there are a lot of em with mistresses-- considering the ones that actually get caught. Hell, we all know Trump isn't the greatest at keeping it zipped-- and honestly, good on him for still having the drive at his age. Sexual impropriety, as long as it doesn't include children or involuntary participants... isn't something I honestly care about, unless its being used to attack someone (example.. don't attack Guy A for having affairs when your guy has had numerous ones as well-- I'm very keen on folks keeping "clean hands" when going on the offensive)

Honestly, keeping Fauci is a disability and I'll explain why I feel this way. I personally don't have an issue with Fauci-- however-- in a time of crisis, one of the most important things to do is to present a united front. When your opinions are so far off that keeping a united front isn't possible... then its time to part ways. The inability to at least publicly be on the same page, looks weak.

The best thing that liberals could hope for.. would be to keep the House, take the Senate, and have Trump as President.

Worst case-- liberals lose all 3.

Most likely outcome? The status quo is maintained.. with maybe one more seat in the Senate than before.

Regardless of anything-- prepare for a lot of fighting over the results no matter who wins the White House.

There is a difference in making money and earning it. As you chuckle with two evils, I raise an eyebrow when certain people say they *make* money. Ain't talking about counterfeiters. So you don't have to keep yammering about your lack of ethics. Originally Posted by Precious_b

I don't care how you look in a blue dress. Don't even see what that has to do with Biden. To nearly cite a person here, "I mean, grabbing them by the pussy remind you of anything?"
I'm not talking about Biden though. You asked about Hillary. And I'm pointing out that she attacked Clinton's victims.

I'll get on the Haiti link and read it. Does it say anything about France helping their former colony that busted free of them?
Read the fucking link.

So, he was ignoring all the reports about kids in cages with Obama and continuing it? Poor leader not picking up on that during Executive Time.
Nope. He's just not going micromanage ever little aspect of every agency. And reports? If this was such a big deal, why hadn't the media reported on it until more recently? lol.

And you to judge morals is a joke. Especially with families. You've already demonstarated your bankruptcy in this.
If my parents dragged me across a desert in the scorching southern heat to cross into a country illegally, I'd want to be separated from them, too. There's nothing wrong with separating kids from bad people. Just like how if a child has a junkie as a parent, it's best to take that child away from the parent.

But I do love how a greedy communist like you is lecturing me on morals. I guess you realize you have no political ammunition.
blah. blah. blah.

Where is that definition of evil I asked for?
I'm not going to define YOUR version of evil for YOU.

And you still haven't demonstrated morality on your part. It is used in the definition of the word evil that I found. Wish I did have a thesaurus. And your diverisions aren't lazy? We already see how you take a parallax view of facts.
My definition of morality is letting people who earned their money, keep it. Yours clearly isn't. Ergo, I am morally superior to you. No amount of you trying to sugarcoat it with your communist Utopian vision will change that.

If he was so great at handling covid how come other countries that have populations more susceptible, higher density, and closer to the source have at least an order of magnitude lesser deaths?
Because we have a stupid state called New York which makes up a large chunk of our deaths. Also, we have way more testing. And we have had dumbass PROTESTS WHERE TENS OF THOUSANDS GATHERED.

That's great leadership on his part. Really shows he did above and beyond. I applaud him for such diligence. Not.
And... what was Biden's suggestion? How about Hillary? Kamala? Cuomo? Newsom?

It's not Trump's job to baby states. If you had an inkling of how the US works, you'd stop trying to make Trump the king of the world and let states do what they want.

Well, you need to write however to have cheeto correct those short comings so he can win by a landslide.
Trump has many shortcomings. I've listed a few.

But when ignorant people like you and Chung repeat the same, tired and already debunked talking points, of course I look like I make Trump look infallible.

Also.. whether or not it is unethical to pay someone a low wage if they agree to it, is arguable. If a persons skills would make them worth 15-- but they're desperate enough to take 10 in order to feed their family-- that's where the question of ethics come in. If you want to keep good employees, you start by taking care of them-- taking advantage of them is not a great start. And as someone who has worked in a management role, cheaper isn't always better, either. I'll gladly pay a candidate 15/hr to not have to hold his hand through every little detail, rather than the 10/hr guy who barely knows the basics.
I got this. but I'm going to sleep after I post. no interest in my words being parsed, or trying to prove I'm not influenced by Rachel Maddow.

if I was Trump, I would have shut down (all) travel from China EARLIER than he did.. by a couple of weeks. same with Europe. I would not have made an Idiot of myself on March 6 (round about), when Trump said anyone who wants a test can get a test. I would not have vigorously promoted a big in-person Easter turnout, which may not even happen in 2021, the way things are going.

I would have taken responsibility as a Leader. invoked the War Powers Act, mobilized a National effort to stamp out the virus. Trump kept denying there was a problem, the virus was going to wither away, despite Fauci and others saying the pandemic was worsening.

However, realistically speaking, that is not feasible. We do have the 9th and 10th Amendment that grants states the right to govern in their way. Trump knows this and he isn't playing that card. I wish against it, but I do also respect him for not overstepping his bounds. If he did it now, a President I hate in the future could also do it.

Everyone wants a POTUS to have power to do things exactly their way, but that's not the way the American government (theoretically) works.

But I want to feed my family and that extra 5 dollars goes a long way towards feeding my own. And ethically, that is correct.

That's assuming the guy who wants 15 is worth 5 dollars more than the guy who asks for 10.
