Who in here would still have invaded Iraq in 2003? We know JD , LL and LustingGayAss would!

1) NO
2) NO

Collin Powell was extremely ambivalent about the WMD intelligence and the invasion but he just didn't have the will or the guts to stand up to Bush and tell him it's a bad idea. Rumsfeld and Cheney had wanted to invade Iraq ever since the first gulf war, this just game them an excuse to do it. There were other ways Hussein could have been dealt with. God help us if another Bush becomes president.

LLIdiot, a simple "Yes" or "No" will do. (Use the example found above for a reference point.)

Is that weak? I don't know, I think it's political. I think he wanted to keep his job.

But I can't help but believe that his deep respect for the Chain of Command would have trumped any personal beliefs he may have felt about the situation in Iraq.

2) Disobeying a Lawful Order
3) Derelection of Duty
4) Perhaps even Mutiny

I believe President Truman chose the proper course of action by only firing the General. Anything more would have developed into a huge media circus.

In my opinion, Truman clearly had the upper hand and chose not to overplay it.

I'm sure when either they or the Muslims take over they will execute fat people like you.

MacArthur graduated first in his class at West Point, was later the Superintendent, and won the Medal of Honor.
