Per the national news this evening, AM has signed up "hundreds of thousands of new members" since the hack was announced.

Whoever said bad publicity is still publicity must have a big grin!

My CC transactions from when I tried it aren't there (I downloaded the first datadump). My burner email I used is, but it was an anonymous email. I know I sent them a few $$, perhaps through paypal? Whichever, I lucked out and am not in their listings.

I met three women through the site. One was a one night stand, one we met and decided not to go any further (no sparks), and one was an experience full of drama which remind me some men seek escorts for a very good reason.

I think Austin is an outlier because it is a town full of technically savvy people (women and men both) so there was a larger pool of actual people to choose from. I'm sure if you were purchasing an "affair guarantee" from Swedenborg, Pennsylvania you might have been pushing the limits of the system.
No way in hell would I sign up now but I did at one time and my profile is there. I used PayPal and a disposable email so you'd have to know that email to find me.

The "fun" thing about the tokenized card data is that the profile ID of the user is there too so it's easy to query the other tables for profile data and get a semi-complete view of the user.

What I don't get, credit cards aside, is why anyone would sign up for an account like that and include their address and phone in their PROFILE.

Anyway, I did meet one lady so it wasn't money _completely_ wasted.
