Here's how to deal with it (read: get rid of them).

#1 - write back and ask for his phone # so you can call and "personally" talk with him.

That right there will probably get rid of him. If not ...

#2 - Tell him that you would rather meet him in a public setting first to make sure that he is for real. Even tell him that you will buy the drinks. You just want to make sure that all is legit.

With those two he will either be real or disappear. Of course you can always have fun and string him along for as long as possible. But that's for another discussion. :-)
