Doesn't change my opinion at all. How many people REALLY have a need to own an Uzi?
How many people REALLY need to own a hot tub? An SUV? A yacht? A fur coat?

Need I go on?

Should we start banning things that people don't REALLY need?
Don't run with scissors..

I own a hot tub and an SUV and I have owned a boat. None are NEEDED but they usually bring some level of enjoyment into one's life. If owning an Uzi brings some level of enjoyment to your life, by all means get one.

Some day you'll learn that you can't put TONE into the written word. While I see no need for a law-abiding citizen to own such a weapon for self-protection, if it is legal and turns you on to own one, fine by me. If you or anyone else gets turned on and excited by firing such a weapon, good for you. In an hour or so I'll head out on the road on my bicycle and do 20+ miles at 17+ mph. Now THAT turns me on.

What I find interesting is over the years on several different websites, people have either talked about the weapons they use for self-protection or given other people advice as to what weapon they would purchase for self-protection. Not once has anyone mentioned an Uzi.

The instructor was at fault. As I watched the video I kept wondering when he was going to get behind the shooter, but he never did. Doesn't change anything for me. Originally Posted by JD Barleycorn

Further more why is there a video of this incident anyway. Why would this girls mother post this video. They don't want to show the fatal shot and Iam beginning to question the validity of this whole incident now. Just doesn't make any sense.

Why would you think that the parents would not video the kid shooting a Uzi, and why do you think they would not want to show the kill shot?
