Work on your own rep, in doing so you will eventually do doubles, and the more doubles you do, you will find the right partner and avoid drama.

She is well established by herself...and does doubles with several of the area's finest.
As a big fan of the doubles play, I've seen many "dynamic duos" blow up and both ladies slipping away in obscurity.
Make your own mark...and keep your options open.

Yall make valid points... Building my own reputation and minding my own business will be just what I do for the moment. I haven't even given having a doubles partner another thought since I posted this thread looking for some advice.
And have gotten some really good advice. I will say with every helpful piece of information or advice I have been given here on eccie has helped me a lot with improving here. And I'll just keep doing that....
