I'm hoping that he's got a kick-ass reason...I dunno...maybe something like, he's the proud new owner of a certain "den of inequity" that he's been known to frequent....the same "den" that he's so quick to point-out with a smile that he's, "skid-marked each and every one of the chairs in the VIP area"... or... that he's working as a deck-hand on a head boat in Port A, training for when he goes King/Opilio Crab fishing with Cap'n Phil Harris on The Cornelia Marie...or something cool like that.

I like LAP and consider him a friend so whatever the hell happened, I wish him the best.

Hopefully he left behind the instruction manual, or at least a Post-It® note for the mods informing them that:
"It is imperative to stay online all day as long as you can, if you fall asleep just catch up".

Or is that from a different instruction manual?

Knowing more about this issue has put some of what I posted in a very different light, that the mod team didn't resign in mass, should be commended. I sense the hand of LAP in that and it is a rare thing that someone in 'this thing of ours' acts against self interest and for the good of the community. I thought when starting this thread they were letting a good Admin get away, LAP did it right when leaving and serious props for that!

The rest of it is just ugly and rumors that are worse. There are times to set all of our petty bickering aside and come together as a community, this might be one of those times. Disgusting behavior should be alerted and while I don't have all the proof or facts, the evidence so far is looking horrid. Someone here might have it and I would call on them to make the hard choices and do the right thing. It may be asking to much, but it needs to be done.
