Well CT, admittedly I haven't pursued the studio scene for exactly the reason you stated; it's harder to get into those than Harvard. But I have made every effort support the new amps, only to be disappointed at every turn. Higher initial prices, chronic upcharges, rushed sessions, frequent turnover, poor attitudes and terrible service. These prices are rising faster than inflation and its past the point where it is not making any sense.

Studios are priced a little higher, and you have to surrender personal info. That is a hurdle to cross itself, but the ensuing service is no better. I love the studios, but from my perspective the service is a little WORSE. For 2 big reasons: the propensity to upcharge for BBFS (yeah, I know, there is not always an upcharge), and the lack of a table shower.

You get the same shower at a studio except your standing up instead of on a table, and you get two showers one in the beginning and one at the end. Studios don’t expect you to shower when you arrive, I’ve told them plenty of times I had just showered and the girls just skip it. Might also depend on how clean-cut you look and smell with the hug at the front door.
