If 100 people are on a plane. One person is infected and 99 aren’t to start. If everyone wears a mask except the infected person, how many will be infected after the flight. If only the infected person wears a mask, how many would be infected after the flight. Just curious what people think. I don’t have the answer. 'tiny tyrants' is a good description of the DPST marxists who want to control everyone around them into Orwellian dystopia - their version of 'AOC socialist paradise" - dissenters get concentration camps.
Fools and lemmings.
ta is correct - the fiden tyrants allow infected illegals freely into America - yet want total control with two masks and lockdowns everywhere - while their agents from Mexico and S america spread infectious diseases among taxpaying Americans.
tiny tyrants - you get what you elected - Love it and bow to Comrade Xi - who owns teh fiden crime syndicate. Originally Posted by oeb11

In Texas, "management" of the virus has always been about ICU and hospital capacity, not saving human lives. As a famous judge once wrote, it’s “like throwing away your umbrella in a rainstorm because you are not getting wet."
The argument to ease restrictions is based on the seasonal change (this virus thrives in the Fall and Winter,) pressure from business lobbyists and the fact that vaccines will be more readily available in the near future; however, it appears that the state (particularly Dallas county) is doing a poor job of vaccinating residents. The link below is from Dallas county. It shows that since January 15th only 90,000 residents have been vaccinated (Dallas county has 2.6 million residents.) Only 42,000 residents over 65 have received the shot. The remainder are likely first responders and those under 65 with comoralities. At this point not even 1 out of 26 residents have been vaccinated.
It does make sense that we could maybe start to relax some of the restrictions in the future once the majority of the county has been vaccinated, but Abbot is clearly premature here as he was in the Summer when he choose to reopen initiating a huge wave of cases. At one point in the Fall TX had more cases than CA and the CA population is 33% larger than Texas (40 million vs 30 million.)
I prefer to look at facts, not politics and the facts say this is a poor decision. Reference the link below to track daily cases, number of residents vaccinated, etc. We will start to see daily cases increase about a month after dropping the mask mandate.
