Continental Airlines has gone to shit ever since they merged with United and moved to that shithole called Chicago. Customer service is as sorry as it can get and they act like they are doing you a favor to let you sit in their leased planes.

If the passenger canceled her flight like United said she did , then United did nothing wrong.

If some employee jimmied the system so SJL could get bumped to first....they should be fired.

As LL likes to say , it is to early to convict ...or something to that effect. If I was running United , I'd get to the bottom of it....if they are bumping paid ticket holders for elected officials , that is fucked up.

You assume that the passenger "cancelled" ... That doesnt even make any sense why she would do that mid trip if she had a seat already!

Mobile apps are not trustworrhy at all. I can see many scenarios that the app woulda fucked up...

But I can also see many many more scenarios where the freed slave queen woulda "made this happen" at the gate or prior... remember that certain customer service agents have the ability to "make things happen" in the system so that it would appear like a "huh..how about that? it would seem you cancelled your ticket" ....

AND THEN throw out the race cars because people are "afraid to go there" and have no balls....SJL is a piece of shit no matter how you slice it, she gonna get her way....this aint her first rodeo.

I agree that said airline went way downhill since United took over.. it was once my goto airline (Continental) but I avoid it like the plague for several years now.

Yep! Why would United give a boarding pass to someone who didn't have a reservation to fly. Doing so would be an obvious violation of TSA security regulations.
