Over time, get in the habit of always using cash for purchases. When you've learned how to manage your normal necessity and entertainment from your wallet, just start hobbying from your wallet, you'll adapt, she want see any pattern changes (except that you smile more). Originally Posted by rCoder

But if I started paying cash for everything so I could keep a little on the side for p4p, that would be as suspicious to my SO as writing a check to "Hillary Hooker, for services rendered."

Ray (Nervously): No I mean your jokes...I'm just saying ... You know ..you're a funny guy. You know what I mean

Dig stuff out you have not seen in years and sell it on EBAY. Create your hobby account via paypal.

" Honey, you would not believe it, but my ID was stolen today!! Fortunately they were only able to get $300!"

Use wisely. This approach will not work more than 8 - 10 times.

This is proof positive that marriage is like having a prison guard watching over your every move. No thank you very much.
If you're willing to go through this much for a piece of outside ass do you really want to be married?

This is a very odd place to be judgmental about the lives of others!

I was very clearly addressing the confinement of marriage and whether it is worth all the hassle. Where in that statement is there ANY indication whatsoever of judging the man? Seems like a bit of a stretch.

Wasn't saying you were judging the man -- and my post wasn't aimed at you in particular, you weren't the only one to say "Married? WTF, dude..."

It's a common argument on these boards and one that always amuses me!

If you guys want to debate the merits or stupidity of the institution of marriage as it relates to hobbying, then start your own thread on that topic. This thread is really relevant to a lot of hobbiests here so lets get creative and devious and help our brothers out!!!
