Frankly, it wasn’t even a riot. Congress was back to work that night, unlike the thousands of people who lost their lives work to actual riots that the entire democratic party enthusiastically encouraged. I found it rather enjoyable, watching those who consider themselves our betters squirm beneath the nightmare of their own creation.
Had they listened to President Trump, sent in the military when they were actually needed, and made a statement that political violence is unacceptable in any form, maybe we’d all still live in a civil society.

At 2:24 pm Trump tweeted "Mike Pence didn't have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!"
Finally, at 2:38 p.m President Trump tweets, "Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!"
