Dogecoin or bitcoin

As for graphics cards, those have a hell of a lot more memory on them nowadays and faster than main board expansion chips. And once the main board chip space is full, that's all that can be added.
As for IRS, what they want is to tax the "profit" on the coin that you held for a while, that's what they are after. And yes coin transfers are traceable, that's how that all works. As for tracing illegal activity, well it can be done, but, national borders heavily interfere with that.
I do note that a basic user will not have issues. But, IRS, DEA and ATF are in the same office in most cities.
As for using in hobby, again, there's transaction fees every single time regardless of amount. And why would any one expect a gal to have an account? Especially with the dead historical figure little green trading coupons being as accepted as they are. Even in other countries the American version are more accepted than the local version.
Each Doge payment costs 1 Doge, no matter of the size of transfer.

I don’t pay anything in Bitcoin. I convert it to USD and then it gets loaded on one of the debit cards I mentioned. At that point, it’s cash in an account like anything else. Where I’ve benefitted is that the typical bills we all pay...I just use those BC funds to pay. So that frees up over a grand a month. Those funds would normally be coming out of my earnings from my job. Instead, since I pay those bills with my BC debit cards, I pocket that money and use it to hobby. That way I don’t take cash withdrawals off them. Which I can, but like anything else, I gotta pay to get my own money. It’s much easier to just run by a bank for free and get cash out my account.

Kcg,
I know what you're doing.
You just move larger amounts over to a linked account that has a card.

But, with it being a new found source of cash flow these last 4 years...I been playing their game.

The conversion rate is where transaction fees are included.

Most of these outfits have an affiliated "bank" that can handle debit cards to use with vendors or atms, etc.
Amongst other revenue, I also get paid to chase bank accounts by divorce lawyers when spouses try hide funds. More than once I've seen a judge get grumpy about hidden assets in divorces, including this trading coin stuff.

There are a lot of people who think they won't have to pay taxes on the profits: think again.

If you want to hide what you are spending money for; cash is still king.
UC...Most def. Glad I don’t have to worry about that.

I’m just glad I stayed in it. When it dropped back down to like 8-9k I was nervous and started to cash out and take my profit and run. Eerily close, in fact. Then just like that it took off. I couldn’t believe it. So even with the ~30k dive, I’m still up 30k per so I can’t complain too much about the fees. Best decision of my life so far was taking half that year’s bonus and dropping it on those 3 coins. Had I not seen the gains a trusted friend made, I’d still be on the sidelines calling it all BS. But he got in real early, like sub $1200. He mines too...but that’s not my wheelhouse so I’ll remain moot on that.

There are unknowns in life. I once lost about $10,000 on a quick in and out on Apple stock (of all things). I bought in again when it went back up past $10 and held on to that to this day. I just can't bring myself to sell it even now. It must be an emotional thing.
Doge does not affect the Graphics market. It uses a CPU or ASIC miner like BTC. But yes, Ethereum folks are grabbing the graphics cards en mass as fast as they are being made. You can pack like 6 or more of them on one PC mainboard. Originally Posted by royamcr

His comment about the price is pretty silly since cards are going for up to slightly more than double right now as worse case. $400 cards are going for up to $900 if you don't put effort into finding a better value. RTX 3090s can go for over 3k but their cost from retail approaches 2k.
It really depends on the CPU you have and the GPU you can afford and can get.
