RIP Kidd Kraddick

I read online asking fans to place ribbons on their side view mirror in memory of Kidd. I will be getting mine today.

RIP Kidd....

The only people that really care are the ones remaining from the show. Their paychecks are now in jeopardy.

R.I.P,kidd kraddick my mornings will never be the same.
Its so sad last week he had a bit talking about death.
I listened this morning. It was hard to hear and feel the pain even through the laughs and I found myself with my own personal lump-n-throat reminding me of the mortality of life, love and those that are left behind, I know for his partners on the show (and listeners like me) it will never be the same. What a decent, kind, caring and funny man. He left his mark on many he touched in life (the good kind). That memory will live on.

We can all hope for as much in our lives.

I was listening as well. I loved the part where they were playing the bits of him singing. That song he made about him cutting peppers and going pee afterward and getting pepper juice on his balls cracked me up!!!!!

It can haunt you for a very long time, plus when she has children of her own (I don't believe she does) she will always feel the tugs on her heart knowing that her children will never know their Grandfather and the impact he could have on their lives, too...I grew up never knowing my two Grandfathers, they died before I was 5, so I think Pyramider's statement, unbaited or cynical, missed it's mark with me.

I had 6 months to say my 'Goodbyes' to my Father when he passed some 10 years ago and that was the greatest gift I have ever received and I still miss him, everyday.

he seemed like a great guy. he was young
I remember in the mid 90's when I got to turn the radio to something other than country and I landed on Kidd. Him Kelly and some other dude and Al came on from time to time to talk about his limo. He was so young it's so sad what happened. He was such a great man "kidds kids" was such a great thing.
I listened again this morning to the replays of some of his broadcasts. The one story he was telling where he hired Kelly is pretty funny. What a guy!

I'm not trying to be a puss, but this has all made me somewhat sentimental and well.. thankful. In saying that, thank you all..friend and quasi foe (if any), alike. It's nice seeing you all here raising hell and being funny at times.

I want to especially thank those who I've seen in person who each took the time and effort to share an hour or so of their own life with me. I appreciate it and each of you.

Life is precious.

did anyone hear the Russ Martin show yesterday? I was going to, but forgot....I just wonder what Martin had to say, since he and Kidd had a little on-air fued over the years.... the "fued" could have been entirely fake, to fuel ratings.... I doubt Martin would say anything nasty yesterday, but anything is possible...
