Spending is the real issue, not tax cuts...

WTF is an idiot. He bumped his own thread 3 times. Pathetic.

Put him on ignore like I have. Ten years ago he was insisting that the SS debt was in different accounting pile and wasn't a problem.

Has he started his "you spent the 'surplus' on stupid wars" rant yet?

There are a lot of issues and spending is just one.
Giving away our money isn't spending.
Borrowing money to give it away isn't spending.

When a democratic populace discovers that if they can get enough people to vote the way they want; they can rob the rest of us blind. why pull the wagon when everybody else is riding. One of the first things Obama did was make it so you did not have to work in order to get welfare.

Contrary to the popular belief that we do not spend enough on our military, we actually do but way too much is misdirected and as a result the demands for more money to continue to geed the suckers grows louder. As far as our allies go; if they do not want to contribute to their defense by increasing their military then pay us in cash.

It is not the responsibility of the federal government to be the benefactor of the arts. That is for the individuals to do. Charity is the responsibility of individuals, families, and religious organizations and not the government. Corporatins can kick in if the shareholders and directors decide they should.

All of this provides more clarity that the real culprit here is government spending. We're being taxed more, period. And the reason is because the government can't stop spending our money. It's spending so much, that it plays games and deceptive tricks with popular programs like Medicare and Social Security to hide and prop up that spending. And yet, our debt keeps growing.
