I don't understand this

Plenty of beautiful ladies here
It's a bit unprofessional to juggle things around at the last minute. JMO. Lots of ladies here love the lunch dates! With proper screening all is well Especially if it is a decent place to eat-no dollar menu lol.
I woulda gone to lunch with ya and driven 20 minutes without batting an eyelash, and I wouldn't have charged ya, but ya better buy me lunch.

You deserve better. Move on to the next, darlin.

Yes it was unprofessional to make the committment and not follow through with it. But she probably thought you were a time waster because your offer seemed too good to be true. Also, lunch hour is prime time. Most hobbyists can sneak a visit in during the lunch hour while the others have to be those who work out in the field or be high up enough you can disappear for an hour and nobody is looking for you.

She didn't have anything going on when you first approached her so she took the offer. In the meantime, she got a request for a meeting that paid more and she took that over yours. Promises of "I will be a regular in the future" have never followed through. In my experience the gents who become regulars don't bother to make promises about it, they just do it. So promises of "I will become a regular" won't pay any bills but $300 versus $100 sure does.

Now again, I don't condone the unprofessional way it was handled, but these are just the cold hard facts of life for some.
It's tough to understand what happened there. Perhaps she wasn't entirely clear about what you wanted or why you wanted it. Maybe she doesn't get many calls for "lunch only" and got suspicious. Remember in this hobby that anything out of the ordinary will raise some eyebrows and will, unfortunately, raise the chances of a no-call/no-show (NCNS).

I wouldn't worry about it much. It happens to all of us.

All the best.
