Warren Buffets Challenge to Republicans

I remember an interview given by Captain Outrageous, Ted Turner about how much he didn't pay in taxes. He asked the interviewer hold much did she think he paid in taxes last year. She didn't know. So he told her that he probably paid less than she did. He explained that he no longer owned CNN, Time-Warner, or any other profit making property. He had sold it all to a corporation of which he was the CEO and consultant. He drew a salary of about $50,000 yearly (this is from memory, it could be more) on which he paid taxes. He also had a corporate expense account of about $10 million which the corporation paid a special tax rate on. He spent millions every year but only paid income tax on the 50,000.

So the rich Republicans aren't going to pay, now the poor aren't going to pay according to you. Who is going to pay? But Republicans are against the deficit, right? Originally Posted by TexTushHog

You still think everything would be fine if the rich were taxed more. Tax them all you want. It won't make a shit's worth of difference until spending is under control. Moron.
