I've actually been considering trying that, but thought it might come across as crass. Plus I was unsure how to handle ladies whose services do not pique my interest.

Now think about this for a minute. Do you really want the low bidder when it comes to where your putting your johnson? It works so well for the government, I am sure it would work great in this hobby as well.

This suggestion is completely missing the connection issue; two people communicate via internet or phone, and, if they connect and like each other, set up a date!
Any kind of auction/hotwire bs would emilimate all of the oh-so-important (to me, anyway!) contact.
What fun would that be??
