Guess I'll put my 2cents in! Saw the post when it 1st went up, and gave the 1st like.. I see nothing wrong with the post, and agree with MM.

Fancy, I'm sorry to read that Dallas' tour was canceled as a result of the hurricane. Bad timing for sure. I also hate to hear that you lost revenue as a result of her tour cancellation but bottom line is we all lost money and will continue to suffer for quite some time. My post is one of simple economics, keep local money local where its needed the most. Quite frankly I highly doubt you'd be arguing that side of the coin if a large block of your calendar and income had not been tied to a traveling lady.I appreciate you MM. Thank you for having your fellow providers in your thoughts in spite of the situation you're in.
I understand your point about southern hospitality but lets save that for the folks who are rushing to our city to help us not take money out of our pockets.
Lucas, You're right I have much bigger things to fret over, like my storm ravaged roof and water damaged first and second levels of my home.
I took a break from demolition and waiting on the insurance adjuster to fight for the ladies of Houston and I will NOT apologize for that. Originally Posted by Macy Manning

But traveling providers will probably never read this thread.
And honestly, if a lady is traveling into a hurricane ravaged destination out of all the places in the United States she can go to...she may not be the sharpest tool in the shed.
I wouldn't worry about it. Originally Posted by CurvyKatie

Before embarking on a Houston tour in the next few months, I ask that you consider the plight of the ladies who call this wonderful city home. Many have been displaced from their homes loosing everything but the clothes on their backs. Most all of us have seen our homes and lives altered forevermore. We are all struggling at this time but have no choice other than putting on our big girl panties and getting to work rebuilding our lives.
Rebuilding will be easier if what little available hobby dollars being spent in the city are allowed to remain in the city. Our ladies need to work and you can easily go to another city to make your money.
Gentlemen, please give the local gals priority when you hobby in the near future.
We are Houston Strong and we will rebuild TOGETHER.
