I made a post in mid-April concerning Windows XP end of life.
I’m just wondering who’s still using this OS and if any problems were/are encountered.
I’m still running XP with IE7 and it’s doing fine, although YouTube and other Web presences are advising they will no longer support the system. I'm too poor to buy a new computer and this old Dell Dimension 8300 doesn't have the capacity to "modernize".
I’m just curious and would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,

XP is not dead and MS is still doing security updates for it. It requires a slight registry hack and it will now look like a point of sale computer vs a PC
see this site http://www.zdnet.com/registry-hack-e...xp-7000029851/
and there are unofficial updates to XP that is basically a new service pack SP4 that you can read about here http://www.zdnet.com/want-windows-xp...ay-7000033030/
Just clone your hard drive and download the updates and you should be good to go for a while and includes security updates until 2019
Read the blog and get more info here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Others/...official.shtml.
good luck with flash...
