Nice well written set of guidelines.
Wish there would have been something like this a few years back.
Might be nice to put as a sticky in the provider ad forum.
Or not.
A wonderful letter. Should have been posted as a sticky IMHO for future hobbyists.

Like atl, I might want there to be some clarity in some very minor points, but there is no need to beat a dead horse.
I also think it should be a sticky! It was very well thought out, very well written, and all of the providers was asked to contribute to it. I think it is an honest, matter of fact, and very informative letter.

We need to STICKY IT!

Well done!

However, it still amazes me that there are enough irresponsible people around whose actions continue to cause threads like this to be posted.

The one critique, mostly in Screening #1, is don't expect us to read everything you've ever written. Originally Posted by atlcomedy

Mokoa--Gotta disagree with you here.

Yeah, it's easy with ladies who have one site.

However, IMHO, a lot of ladies have:
  • A personal website and
  • A showcase on ECCIE and
  • A P411 site and
  • Ads on ECCIE or another XXXXX board edited out by Shooter
All of which quote different fees, different enjoyed activities, and even a difference as to whether or not they will do outcalls. It is mind-boggling the variations that can exist at these different places. To say that it's easy is an affront.

In addition to the above, the provider may post on this or another and say things that are misleading about what they may or may not offer. Just as reviews may be far removed from reality.

As atl says, scanning all this thoroughly can take a lot of time. And just as time is important to the providers, it is important to us, too. After all, time is money. Originally Posted by charlestudor2005

As Mokoa mentions ==> one has to wonder why it had to be edited and posted in the first place; albeit, many of us do understand and simply note it is now a matter of record for all to see. Sooner or later - folks figure out this is not a game and there are really live people at the keyboards in front of every screen. Respect always outweighs anything else and goes on forever and ever.
Have a nice evening everyone!!

Thanks Shooter, I was just writing an "I'm taking a Break" thread, but you have renewed my faith for now. xoxo

Maybe I am not as good a business man as some of you others. When I am Hobbying I am off the clock and am enjoying leisure time. All my Hobbys require some research time and that is just part of it. If I don't have the time that my hobby requires, Golf, fishing or this Hobby I keep working and don't Hobby. This is supposed to be fun! If it isn't you are doing it wrong.

nice set of rules.I do believe the guys need to post one too though. This hobby is a two way street.
Respect should be given on both sides and some of the rules seem to be glossing over the problems that the men encounter in the hobby.
Such as returning e-mails and or answering requests.Seems a good way to just pass the buck.
I always show the ladies nothing but respect when calling or e-mailing and especially during the sessions.I expect the same in return. If a guy calls and he has not read your profile completely is it really that "hard" for you to respond and let him know where he has errored instead of getting indignant.
You are in a service business which means you provide courteous service whenever possible. That would and should include answering questions and responding to requests for appointments in a timely manner.
I love the ladies but it seems at times they don't follow the very set of rules they would like to encourage us to .
