Backpage CEO arrested! Lives in Frisco!

said Attorney General Paxton
Embellish or hypocrite much, ye of your own current criminal charges and lackey for the walmart economy of underemployment and slave wages...

This is political year grandstanding. Bunch of cocks flopped out on the table, showing for power. Smug as he may be, neither this CEO nor backpage.com is the problem and all involved know it. He will likely walk after lining a few connected pockets one way or another--somebody gotta get payed! He was an unsypathetic and arrogant target in the wrong business at the wrong time. Shelf life of a few weeks through the election, if that...

But let's hope he walks. Nothing to do with the hobby, rather far reaching ramifications of freedom of information and speech if BP or CEO are forced to unlock client documents.

Of course while everyone feigns outrage and disgust and writes a song for the poor exploited women and children, the easy question which leads to the most humane and sensible solution never even gets asked: Why is bartering sex services still illegal? Fuck, our entire marital institution was born of Dad's bartering daughters to other Dad's sons. What's the difference between a tycoon purchasing arm candy for a few years with generous gifts and the laborer purchasing it for a few minutes with legal tender? (I know why and no, it is no different--rhetoric, sadly...)

Just one of the many benefits to no longer criminalizing hookers and johns is that the pedos would lose the vast wasteland of "consensual criminal sex" to hide out in. Not only would the truly nefarious be easier to track, but who would hesitate to roll over on scumbags when it was no longer a risk to your personal business or your privacy?

And Frisco is a frigging dump! That once great city was decimated when authorities tore down the beautiful mobile home communities along Preston and 121...to put in a parking lot!!! (Kidding...I'm sure there are some nice parts )
I'm sure he will hire a good attorney and brush that off. Originally Posted by AlluringStacy

Meh, he's going to walk. This is all a pony show for November. He wont get convicted of any sexy trafficking.

It's interesting that this happened right before the OU/Texas game. I noticed there seems to be an influx of girls coming down from Oklahoma...
Perhaps it's juat the government is pissed because they can't collect taxes on sex so they call it trafficking.
