I don’t usually post in politics because civility is lacking but please at least read the article you are posting for the rest of us. It says Obama should not have been given the Nobel either and certainly Trump should not lol. An article that says don’t give it to anyone if the available subjects suck isn’t the same as an article claimed to say don’t give it at all because Trump should get it. Then again, Barack Obama won the prize in 2009, while refusing to meet with Kim Jong-il and, by the way, expanding America’s drone program. (He won for his promotion of, notably not his success in achieving, “cooperation between peoples.”)
what he seems to not realize nor make any attempt to note is that there never should have been a Nobel prize .. certainly not for peace or anything else as Alfred Nobel's main contributions to the world are Dynamite and Gelignte, both high explosives.
regardless of the uses of these explosives in mining and other non-violent uses, they have of course been used many times in war and terrorist acts. was Nobel trying to atone for this by creating a Nobel peace prize? possibly.
in today's rabid dog cancel culture the Nobel itself should be cancelled
