Bullshit Dallas vs Green Bay

It was an Incomplete pass

He also... admits officials missed call in Lions-Cowboys game

Sometimes a call goes your way, and sometimes it doesn't...great season though by the Cowgirls

You guys that say they got fucked, maybe. Did it cost them the game? Hell no. They are up by 2, maybe 3 if they convert the 2 pt. With what, 4 min to go?

Aaron Rodgers was getting hot.

Just like the call last week didn't cost the Lions the game, neither did this cost the Cowboys.

I don't know how we keep Dez and Demarco AND fix the holes on defense. I don't think Jerry's gonna pay Demarco. I think he may go after AP (if he's available) or go to the draft.

Karma that's it.

Zero chance Dez leaves. Worst case, he gets franchise tagged

I guess it depends on which crew you got...

I'm not on the NFL rules committee but I'd guess that the rules for "catching and having possession of a punt" are a lot different than "catching and having possession for a reception"

The call was correct...the rule is fucked up
I like the Cowboys but I can't stand that slimy Jerry Jones. Looks like a cross between Kenneth Copeland (the wealthy TV preacher) and Satan. So I win either way. But was a shitty call. Sucks that you have to rely on winning by such a thin margin of a ref call make the difference.

I took Cowboys +6 so I am happy.

Sorry fellas that was no a catch by that rule. He takes steps while falling down, that is not a the same as taking two steps to avoid a tackle etc by the rule. Rule is stupid IMO, but its in place currently.

Thing is.... he should have hauled the catch in. 4th down, big game.. you make the friggin catch THEN you try for the endzone. Dez had a mental fart and it cost him. He had a great season, but that catch kind of nails the tag of talented but questionable game mentality on him. Hes young so he will hopefully overcome that kind of thing, but I don't see a clutch receiver making that kind of mental error. I don't hate dez.... i'd like to see him be the WR he has the talent to be, regardless of his 'issues' but that one is on him. Hes locked up with the DB, falling, right at the end zone so all of that plays into the mistake, but you have to make that catch and hold onto it and get the new set of downs. Its not like this is a new rule.... plenty of WR have gone great lengths to demonstrate control through a catch and fall on the field.
Bolt....you've been around long enuff to know anything can happen in football. If the play had stood as called on the field and (let's say for instance) the Boys put it in the endzone on the next play or so to go up 28-26.....who's to say the Packers score again?

Sure, Rodgers was hot in the 4th quarter, that's a given. But even so, what he'd done up until that point doesn't mean he leads the Pack on a drive to win the game. They could bog down (ie: penalty, sacked, fumble, etc). What if they have to settle for kicking the go ahead / winning field goal and Crosby simply misses it? Or the Cowboys block it and return it for a TD to ice the game?

That said, if the Dez "non"-catch had taken place early in the game, then it's very easy to say that overturned call doesn't directly affect the final outcome (if there was more than a half left to play, for instance). But late as it was....when the game was most definitely hanging in the balance....with approx 4 minutes remaining on the game clock? C'mon....it's really difficult to make your argument "this call didn't cost them the game" stand up.

Hey I am no Cowboys fan and I cheered that play. But as soon as they started showing replays I knew it would be overturned. Cowboys had to stop them one way or another and couldn't. In the end, their defense just couldn't finish as they did against Detroit.
