Anyone paying attention to this?5 million rounds stockpiled. $600,000 to $1.1 million spent annually on ammunition. Wow! Well, at least unlike so much other government spending, this has been a good investment. Have you noticed how much prices of ammo have increased?
Yes the irs has armed themselves with assault weapons and stock piled ammo. For what?
All an irs agent should have are #2 pencils!
But its not okay for citizens to have these same weapons.
America.... Wake up! dems know Americans are fed up! The govt is arming itself against YOU!
Pay attention.

The article reinforces the irs being supplied assault weapons and way more ammo than they need. The rest of the article is biased bloviating. And real disinformation. politifact is really misinterpeting the facts! biggly Originally Posted by winn dixie

Maybe a few citizens, probably not "most" want to know. Not that hard...if you were executing a legally authorized warrant against a mafia member, drug dealer, money launder, massage parlor, stop club, wouldn't you want to be armed and therefore expect them to be as well?If an IRS agent is serving a warrant, a legal warrant, then they should be accompanied by local law enforcement. Thems the rules.
Those special agents are a small subset of the total IRS workforce. The ordinary pencil pushing auditors aren't armed (or required to be) and likely never confront those audited in person. Of course, I support their right to carry, since they too are citizens protected by amendment 2. Originally Posted by reddog1951
