Providers ideas on clients using you as references

I don't have any problem whatsoever supplying a reference, and don't understand why others refuse to.
I have no problem if a provider or hobbyist uses me as a reference in fact I have a BFE up north that I asked another hobbyist for suggestions for him...which i passed on to him and there a few reasons a person would say they don't know someone is they either really didn't see them, or they forgot and to forget someone is just not the way to do this....that just shows what type of provider you are...they get offended and think the man is theirs...etc.....i saw someone who reviewed someone and the provider wrote a comment "i never saw this person" i asked about it and the answer I dot made sense since I know the provider and what type she is... I think some ladies are just protecting themselves. They may think an angry spouse / SO is calling, saying they are provider so-n-so, just to get verification that the guy was seeing someone. Then unleash on the provider who confirms the prior "date".

Providers have to be careful when anyone calls or emails.

The lasies I use as references, told me I could, and there is always something specific they will remember me by. I give that info to the lady who is screening me, so she can have something specific to let the reference lady know. That way, both ladies know it could have only come from me, and not from someone fishing for information.

I gladly give references to legitimate providers. I think that is part of our duty as providers. It helps other ladies to stay safe and also helps the Gents with keeping up with their references being current. I don't like giving a reference on a client that I haven't seen in the past 6 months.
I have had several "fake" reviews put up on me on e.com. They were great reviews but in fact they didn't meet with me. It was some bozo's wanting vip access. I can understand why some ladies would say that they haven't met someone that has reviewed them.
