Thinking that either party isn't full of racists is pretty naive. This is actually one area that Republicans get their ass handed to them. Plenty of Dems ARE racist, most of the top Democrats are white, but they recognize that if they are just inclusive enough... they get the black vote.

What's Trump's percentage of the black vote right now? Something like 91% against him?

The GOP is made up of old white racists too. Unfortunately they have no clue how to connect with minorities. Branding Mexicans as rapists, Muslims as terrorists... isn't winning the black vote. You can't pick and choose which minority group to pander to. Court one, and you must court them all, otherwise they will see right through you. Denigrate another, and you denigrate all.

This has actually become a paradigm shift in how the GOP looks at elections in TX. For years, we didn't give a shit about Mexicans. Still don't, really. But suddenly they're the MAJORITY in San Antonio, and gaining ground in other major cities. The GOP here has learned to court the Hispanic vote. Here's another area where Trump has been a complete failure... his words and posturing to force Mexico to build a wall have actually hurt the GOP here in TX, because the electorate only sees that they are both Republican.

This is very misleading. It is true that Republicans were once aligned with Blacks and that Democrats were the racist, but that was many, many decades ago.
