Socials and partys

Absolute BS,I just can't see the purpose of anyone trying that. Not sure why anyone one would think that we are not all watching, if anyone looked odd or no right we would all know. I have never seen or has anyone been allowed to get "carried out". Or " passed out" theses socials are completely safe for everyone.. I am not sure how this even got started but I am sure the socials were a scape goat for someone's inability to handle their consumption and take responsibility for their bad decisions. Everyone is a friend there and women are respected and treated kindly. Disrespectful actions are never tolerated...

Agree with a bunch of previous posters.

Not a real risk of shenanigans, guys and girls are looking out for eachother, i have seen nothing to make me think twice. Apart from a couple incidences of people that flat drank too much theres not been an issue that i know of.
MAN!! Not what i hear AT ALL. definately not what ladies are telling eachother in private...at least to me anyway.

Ive never been to a social or party-they always gave me this bad creepy feeling
Now i dont drink so theres REALLY no reason for me to be there but I wanted to kind of put out a psa for new gals.

Guess theyll have to figure it out like the rest of us

Ill end this with an ironic quote
"Believe none of what you hear and only half od what you see"

Yall keep having fun and STAY SAFE CRAZIES

Interesting thread.

Personally i wouldnt be there if there was anything wierd going on, and to add to that, i would get my ass kicked, but i would sooner take one hell of a beating than let anyone get drugged and taken advantage of.
I would disregard what GLH said. She has nothing to base it on and she should listen to her quote. Lol. Private talk.. How lucky you are that SO many share such g a bad experience with you but then asked to come to the next one. Lol. Next time bring real proof before you talk, it rude to all the people who attend and to those whom work hard to put it together.

Re-posting response from the other thread now that this one has been reopened.....

Sucks that there is no staff explanation for locking it.... What happened to transparency in actions guys? Originally Posted by Whispers

Nothing wrong with members discussing socials in general as long as it's not an announcement of a specific event.

Why not talk about it?
If nothing else this is a great place for ladies to air their concerns and have people reassure them or whatever they please.
Side note- grammer nazis please leave my "whom" usage alone...idk if I used it correctly and i dont care enough to look it up
When the people told me these things my main question was "why us nobody talking about this???" And it scared me away from these events. So now lets talk about it...thats what im trying to do. Because public view and private views differ on these events

You are probably more at risk attending a "Civilian Social" than one hosted by Hobbyists (or even Providers).

We are a community that operates on the borders of legality. Most are aware of that and take it seriously. Some don't but they are few and normally "cut from the herd" at the first sign of trouble.

In my 17 years of attending gatherings I have always received "party rules" within the invitation. I have also seen those rules enforced!

IF... and I say IF something like you suggest ever occurred then the "victim" should have reported it to the party host. We are a "self-policing" group and the ONLY ones who can keep things safe.

As the old saying goes, "If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem!"

If ANYONE feels uncomfortable attending ANY event then they should pass. It's called "choice".

If you have to drug an escort to have sex with them, you are really a loser! I have been to all of CK's and ASPD socials since 2002 (missed 2 due to heart surgery) and never seen that. If anything, I have seen our members drive the ladies home to make sure they got home alright. Ginger, they are mistaken and possibly not wanting you to attend so they can see them men themselves? Would love to meet you one day at a social. Its a great place to put a name with a face and see if you click before you spend your $$. If you do click, it makes the first session SO much better. Saved me a lot of $$ over the years and I have been pleasantly surprised many times.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say 99.9% of me does not believe that this would happen at any of CK's socials or in Killeen/Austin. That just would not be stood for. If it did happen, get the handles out & let's deal with it. This community polices itself most of the time. I do know one guy who got handsy with me & it pissed me off, but no one let anything happen to me. I was not happy that I ran into someone that makes the devil come out in me, but that is the worst thing I've seen happen, personal ly. You can't blame the entire social for it. Think about the liability and possible negative attention & wreckage that could cause a lot of people that do work hard and enjoy the socials. I would not think one who's organizing an event is dumb enough to let this knowingly happen. If it did happen or is happening it sounds like it could possibly be one rotten apple. If that's the case, these ladies need to step forward and let's get the rotten apple out of the way. That is a danger to the community and pretty horrible if, in fact, this did happen. That's just my 2 cents.

I just can't see most of any of these people, turning a blind eye, if they saw this or knew it was going on.

I hope this makes sense.
