Some good movies in theatre right now.

Saw The Shape of Water. Wanted to like it, but just didn’t. Cinemaphotography, music, etc were great. Don’t want to spoil it, but to sum it up, mute girl meets Creature from the Black Lagoon, falls in love. The end. I’m not at all a person who can’t suspend reality and just let my imagination go with it. But I just didn’t care for this one. Originally Posted by Dilbertgolf

Darkest Hour shows how close Europe came to speaking German and why the US had to turn into the World's Policeman. Very well done. It shows how isolationists almost allowed England to be destroyed.

I just got done watching:

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

5/5
I thought the story telling in darkest hour was weak but gary oldman absolutely killed it.
I saw Coco this weekend. What an amazing movie.

I went for the animation and the holiday theme of day of the dead and left with the feeling of wanting to see it again once I got home.

Great movie for any age.

I didn’t think Matt Damon could make a bad movie but downsizing was shit. How do you mess up that movie. The concept was great. Script and plot were terrible.
Dying to see The Post, Speilberg's latest flick. I'm seeing all sorts of Great things. May decide to end a relaxing yet fun and funny week by treating myself......

Although, with my luck it wont be playing anywhere near me .. out here in the boonys!
Got the urge to run out and see a movie and The Greatest Showman was the earliest showtime, and loved it.

Hugh Jackman is just so good. He can sing my bra and panties right off. Efron did well too - he can just stare at me with his eyes and my bra strap will fall down.

Just saw “The Disaster Artist”. I wouldn’t say it’s one of my faves. It was “ok”. Seemed really strange for most of the movie then at the end, it all starts to fall into place and make sense.

I went to see The Shape of Water and I walked out of it.

I am not known for walking out of movies.

I can count on one hand the # of movies I've walked out of in my entire life.

I will be seeing the others soon. But this one captured me visually and emotionally as well.

I hate musicals but this one was well done. Got dragged to this one but was pleasantly surprised. I could watch this one again also. Great soundtrack.
