Very nice topic, Irish Vixen.
As far as beverage, cold water is good for me because things get heated up and I need to cool down and hydrate. Wine works or bourbon, but only 1 or 2, thanks. After a 2 hour session I am usually beat and can use a bit of food to bring my energy back up. Fruit, strawberries work for me, cheese platter works as well. Just bring a small bit out at a time for the client, that way there is no freshness concern, you don't have to bring the whole thing out. I have also had peanut butter or oatmeal cookies after a session which was a nice treat on my way out the door. Smooth Jazz (yes, there are different types of Jazz out there) or Classic Rock are my preference during a session.
I always have candles as well as bottled water and if I know someone has a preference of a beverage I will have that..I always have Cd's on hand...so my question is would having a fruit platter, cheese and crackers, so some type of snack to offer be a good thing and what type of music is best to offer...I always ask if there are any special requests...so suggestions?
