OBAMA'S EO BIG LIE: "THEY WILL PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE"

You are a laughable Obama apologist flighty.

He lied about keeping your doctor.
He lied about keeping your policy
He lied about saving families $2500
He lied about continuing to lower health care costs
He lied the business mandate
He lied about wanting to compromise with the Republicans while taking unilateral action numerous times
He lied about Gruber not "being on his staff"
He lied about the site being ready last year
He lied about the enrollment numbers
He lied about Obamacare not costing "one dime"

And you know it. That makes you a liar. Is that you Gruber? Originally Posted by gnadfly

This is the fault of the health insurance companies. They make up the network of Doctors that you can use.
He lied about keeping your policy
This is the fault of the health insurance companies. Grandfather rules were hard coded into the ACA law which allowed the old policies to be continued. The health insurance companies ignored this part of the law.
He lied about saving families $2500
The price of your premium is determined on the risk being taken by the health insurance companies. The risk pools formed on the exchanges would have to have a lot of low risk people in them for premiums to be lower. Despite the mandates it did not happen. Call it a broken promise but not a lie. A good example of a lie is Bush and the WMD's. The only WMD's found were the ones the USA sold Iraq back in the 1980's that had corroded to the point they were unusable.
He lied about continuing to lower health care costs
Not true, the overall cost of health care is reducing the deficit. It was spiraling out of control before. Doctors are only getting like 40 cents on the dollar for Medicaid payments in comparison to an employer based health insurance. That is why some doctors don't see Medicaid patients. If your premium went up it just means that you are attached to a risk pool that has more risk.
He lied the business mandate
How so? He delayed the implementation of it. It will still be implemented.
He lied about wanting to compromise with the Republicans while taking unilateral action numerous times
As for immigration, A bipartisan bill was passed by the Senate 500 days ago. Boehner and Congress sat on it. There was no UP/DOWN vote. The latest EO could have been avoided. Ted Cruz cannot be worked with, he is a MORON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He lied about Gruber not "being on his staff"
You didn't even know who Gruber was until 2 weeks ago.
He lied about the site being ready last year
This is the fault of Sybillaus, she was a governor not an I/T person. You are reaching now for very minor issues. The vendor that they used to do the programming was a holdover from the Bush Adminstration and was used because they were already on site. Picking someone already on site would save them money ( that was the thought).
They did not want to go through a full selection process ( IBM, Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, Seibel) these types of vendors were not solicited to program the website.
He lied about the enrollment numbers
No he did not. All of the enrollment counts are estimates based on feed back from insurance companies and state Medicaid departments. No one agency has an exact count.
He lied about Obamacare not costing "one dime"
Your income tax has not changed due to the ACA. The Bush Tax cuts are still in effect for the lowest 6 tax brackets. Only the top bracket changed, the percentage went from 36 to 39 percent. The same percentage it was under Clinton. The ACA and Medicare Part D are both Trillion Dollar expenses to the Federal Government and are paid for by Tax revenue coming in. There is a tax on medical devices for the ACA. These two things are how the ACA is paid for basically.
Another circle jerk, by our two most prolific circle jerkoffs.

Point out the lie, asshole. Originally Posted by Yssup Rider

Let me spell this out for you very clearly.

Obama's EO makes millions of illegals eligible for work permits. With those work permits they can get jobs. What kind of jobs you ask? Low paying minimum wage jobs. If they possessed skills to obtain higher paying jobs, they wouldn't have needed to come here illegally in the first place.

Now, surely you are aware of the famous 43% statistic? The one Romney was immortalized for quoting? Lets review this statistic. 43% of wage earning Americans pay zero dollars and zero cents in federal income tax. Please note that I was careful to specify "F.E.D.E.R.A.L I.N.C.O.M.E T.A.X" (I even spelled it very slowly for you). This saves you the time of making yourself look stupid by saying "Oh yes they do pay taxes while referring to silly things like cell phone taxes and drivers license fees".

Furthermore, not only will these illegals have income low enough to enable them to pay zero dollars and zero cents in F.E.D.E.R.A.L I.N.C.O.M.E tax, they will also undoubtedly qualify for EITC in which case they actually receive MORE money back from the gov't than they paid in.

Now then, lets move on. Obama claimed in his speech that his EO would enable these millions of illegals to "pay their fair share". However, Obama is either abysmally stupid (quite possible) or he bald faced lied when he made the claim about paying their fair share (also quite possible). Because going by the statistics, it is 100% certain that nearly all, if not ALL of them will NOT in fact pay their fair share, and in most cases will actually MAKE money off the gov't.

Grubers like yourself of course, swallow his horseshit without the bother of applying critical thinking. This is why you are affectionately called Grubers. The rest of us with sentience however, spotted the lie the instant it poured from Dear Leader's lips.

Technology companies want to make it easier for foreign workers to get green cards, for the United States to issue more H-1B temporary worker visas and to help more foreign-born students stay in the U.S. after completing advanced studies here.
Such changes, they argue, will allow foreign entrepreneurs to come to the United States and build job-creating businesses on American shores, bolstering the economy. Indeed, a recent study found nearly a quarter of high-tech companies had at least one immigrant as a founder (full disclosure: Mashable was founded by Scottish-born Pete Cashmore).
A recent letter from the Silicon Valley Leadership Group, which more than 50 technology company CEOs signed, reads: ". . .because our current immigration system is outdated and inefficient, many high-skilled immigrants who want to stay in America are forced to leave because they are unable to obtain permanent visas. Some do not bother to come in the first place. This is often due to visa shortages, long waits for green cards, and lack of mobility."http://mashable.com/2013/05/21/high-tech-immigration-reform/

You didn't show a lie, Whir-LIE-turd, merely a string of hypothetical situations on which you've built a sham conclusion.

What specifically did he lie about in the immigration speech?

You don't need to spell it out. Just quote it.
Why is it that none of you get pissed that the wealthy don't pay their fair share, hide money overseas, and damn sure take out more than they put in?? Originally Posted by Rambro Creed
