One of the guys suggested typing the town you are searching in into the key word search, it really knocks a lot of the fakes out. I thought it was a clever tip.
But still, in Topeka and Lawrence it’s a waste of time. Really nothing there.

Like an idiot I tried contacting one of the midget ladies advertising. Definite scam and it takes you to a site to verify and they promise no fees but want a credit card to hold. Fortunately my CC company immediately blocked it.

Cesspool is right!! I haven't been able to find much in this town in 2020, but I am quite cautious too. From March to October, I did not pursue anything.

First, commit yourself to your own security (physical, monetary, and identity). It must be top priority without compromise. I am an accomplished martial artist, but I will not enter into a situation that doesn't look and feel right even though I can defend myself by doing tremendous damage to another person's body. You still don't know who (or how many) could be behind that door.

Go buy a dummy phone from Walmart and pay the fees. Cost of the hobby. Don't give that number to anyone you know. The great thing about this is, you can text dozens of people and test to see what comes back. Wade through it from there.

Time is your friend. You can employ time when you get over 40 years old. I research a particular ad every way I can. Google the number is a great way. I like to start a text conversation with a woman, then ice it for a week, and text again to follow up. If it is scam, it will likely be gone by then. If it is LE, they will be gone by then. Check the reviews right here on this site. No money up front!! No verification sites inputting personal information. No way. Forget that.

Impatience on the part of the provider is another red flag. If they are impatient, it wont be a favorable experience anyway. I am looking for a long term, bedroom only, relationship and I am ready to back it. So, patient girls, there it is. Message me if can fit the bill. There are a lot of ways to look and I didn't fall off the rhubarb truck just yesterday.

Another red flag is lengthy canned text responses. I texted one girl and immediately got a long corny text response. No way did she have enough time to hen peck that in. Waited a week, texted her again, same exact canned message came back! BS.

If ANY kind of deposit is even suggested it is a SCAM! My few intro text messages include "I do not pay any kind of deposit, cash on delivery!" as the last sentence. I laugh hard from some of the ridiculous responses I get from that.

As for phones . . . you don't really need to buy a burner any more. There are apps that do the same thing, The one I have is TALKATONE. The beauty of that one is you can change your number with just a few clicks and it is not associated with a real number. You can talk, text, send/receive pix all on your regular phone/tablet through the app. There is also Google Voice, the pain is you have to associate with a real number.

IDing fake ads has become, pretty much, second nature with me now. I hardly even look for flags any more or I do it sub conscientiously! If I had to I read the headline, if too brazen, it's probably fake. Too many ways to pay. Location. List of activities has not been edited. I almost never consider an ad on a first day or the first time I notice it. I saw one yesterday, haven't seen it yet today. It was pretty interesting. I had/have doubts but the day is young!

I saw comments about $ up front and want to say that I did have a legit provider ask me for $ up front when I was traveling out of state. She said she needed me to cash app $25 to prove that I was serious or whatever since I did not have references and was from out of state.

I told her no and to forget it, that I would find another provider. After I said that she was willing to waive the $ up front fee and I ended up seeing her and having a nice time.

My only point is that money up front doesn't "always" mean that it is a total scam, but I will never send $ via cash app like that.
