This clown claims to be in Germany when in fact he is hosting in the USA. A simple trace of the ip address shows that. I hope someone sues him.

Denton, I believe the site in question is http://www.texescorts.com/ and not texasescorts.com.

POD, the site http://www.texescorts.com/ is hosted on 74.82.195.138 which shows to be located in Washington.

We ladies have been having issues with this texescorts.com site stealing our photos and information for a while now. Originally Posted by Jules Jaguar

Next, you send a DMCA takedown notice, you can read up on it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Online_...ack_provisions

It really won't matter if the owner of the website wants to take the info down or not. If you own the copyright, and they refuse to take the information down, their ISP will shut the website down.

It's really pretty easy. I've done it a number of times with other websites who stole content from my website. You can do it yourself, just read the link, and follow the directions.

Yes, I've read the thread and noticed several ladies talk about sending the letter. Once you send it, and they do nothing, you need to follow up. If you are scattered about this, and can't find proof of when you sent them notice, they will read between the lines, and figure you out. Follow the procedure to the letter. Give them the amount of time the law allows and no more. From reading the responses here, I'll assume most of the letters read like a backpage ad, and were not agressively followed up.

If you do the above and they fail to take down the offending material, I would try one of the online DMCA takedown firms that specialize in this. I'm sure a Google or two, will get you someone who can do this for a small fee.
The drama with Peter, the owner of the Texescort and all of his other affiliated sites, has been going on for a long time now. Geisha Affair intervened.

Read these articles posted on Geisha Diaries last November:

Escort Profiles Being Stolen
Stolen Companion Profiles Removed

Geisha Affair pioneered a caravan of ladies who were clients of Meeshee Photography whose profiles were wrongfully posted on Peter's websites. GA did so via DCMA take down. The stolen profiles were removed in less than 24 hours. As a courtesy, GA's team of attorneys offered a substantial group discount to any ladies who wanted their assistance in doing a take down.

Problem is that a lot of ladies are afraid to step forward and do something about it because they are afraid of drawing attention to their careers as escorts (there was a lot of activity about this scandal last year on TER to support this theory).

But the reality is that the host server of Peter's sites does not want to have anything to do with illegal activity such as posting unauthorized information on their servers.

The purpose behind Peter's fraudulent sites is something called pay-per-click advertising. Every time a viewer clicks on any of the ads and banners around his sites, he makes money. Ladies, your profiles are the bate for his money making scheme. That's why he steals your info and why no one can log in to the site. It's not real.

Peter is mocking and abusive about the fact that he 'knows' that none of you ladies are going to take legal action against him due to the nature of your jobs. Anyway, taking such legal action would require litigation which is extremely expensive.

Your best course of action is through DMCA take down (and you should have the DMCA logo on your websites anyway!).

Feel free to place your comments on these Geisha Diaries articles as doing so provides even more insight and knowledge to other readers.

Cheers,
Meeshee
Legal action is being taken against them and has been in motion since last year. I can't say any more about it without revealing PR info, so again...ladies...check the powder room.
Ladies - here is another article on Geisha Diaries that tells you how to protect your website content from being stolen in the first place.

How to Protect Your Content From Thieves

I've been impersonated off and on over the past 2yrs so believe me when I say I get it....ultimately, so long as we stay informed and do our proper research, we should be ok! I presume this site is trying to build it's data base but starting with a bad rep like this, wont help!

Play safe!!!!
I found my ad there about a month ago as well. At the time I was trying to remove all face pics from all sites. I didn't even know I had an ad there. But I emailed them and they took it down within 2 days.

I just took a quick look, and found all of the names below, with photos, on Texescorts. Not to put too fine a point on it, but are you girls sure this lawyer knows what's up? He has been working on this for what? 8 - 9 months?

Texescorts is getting bigger, and creating web sites in new markets they were not in a year ago. I'm thinking it shouldn't take most of a year to get, at the very least, all of your photos removed.

Now that it has been established by Jules that the guys are getting their shit copied and posted as well, don't you think it's time you ladies broke off a bit of that info you are hiding in the "super secret area" and shared? Maybe not in the public forums, but come on. We are on the same side of this issue. Not sure why you are keeping it secret in the first place, but then, how could I be? It's a secret.

I've seen providers on eccie with links to Texescorts in their sig line, and it makes me wonder. Just how tight are you all are holding that info? I can't imagine any provider here linking to them once they know what has been going on.
Just a fraction of the names I saw there tonight, that are (or were) regular users of ECCIE.

and yes, even the OP of this thread, Jules Jaguar. There are many others, but I got tired of writing.

If you all think you've got this covered, that you don't need any help, and Texescorts will not be a problem much longer, go ahead and work your plan. It just doesn't look like that's the case right now, and there might be other options that could be pursued. Nobody can know for sure until we know what options have already been pursued, but for some reason, that's a secret too.
