Pink Monkey was off 183. Long gone. Yes, very dangerous:

Wasn't the Pink Monkey a different place? Landing Strip is still around and is my current favorite. Originally Posted by bigpawgfan

Side note: That pink monkey location is now Bare cabaret. NASTY place.

With the 183 construction near landing strip, I can't believe some of the stories out of that place. Every time I fly in and out of town, I drive by that place and wonder. Still haven't stopped in.

So rumor has it that the Yellow Rose will have a Yellow Rose South.
They are working on a Yellow Rose Dallas. Why not have one in south Austin, too.
Landing Strip is my favorite even though it is far and the road construction sucks. The VIP area is a section separate from the main floor with privacy curtains and couches that do the job. I think it is $40 or $50 for 30 min. During the day shift, you won't be disturbed while in there and you get a clear field of view to watch for any intruders.

The building at Expose has been totally leveled. Another well know Austin strip club has purchased the property and will be constructing a new building. It will probably open sometime late 2020.

It's likely to be as nice as the recently opened Bare...

Mea Culpa, I intended to say "GUTTED". It will soon be leveled, however.
Didn't the Red Rose become Palazio eventually? Originally Posted by muckman

The first time I went there, the design of Palazio reminded me VERY strongly of the Men's Club of Dallas. Unlike just about every other strip club in Austin, it was clearly designed with both wheelchair access and valet parking in mind.
When it first opened, the Landing Strip had this absolutely GORGEOUS mural, in the men's room, of the front office of a Boeing 747.

I could tell the place was seriously going downhill when I went in one night and discovered that they'd painted over it.

Landing Strip has a good stable of "catholic" girls...

Get real! BARE is most definitely NOT a "NASTY place"!!!!!
